🐶 Reactive Dog Class – Booking Opens 17th Feb! 🐶

Does your dog struggle with other dogs or people? Do walks feel stressful instead of enjoyable? You're not alone, and help is here!

Our Reactive Dog Class is back, starting at the end of March, running for six weeks every Monday at 12:30 p.m. at The St Hugh’s Centre in Baildon. Each session is one hour long, carefully designed to keep both you and your dog safe, while gradually building confidence and practical skills in a controlled, small-group setting.

🌟 What to Expect:
✅ A maximum of 4 dogs per course for a stress-free experience
✅ Structured exercises to help your dog feel more comfortable
✅ Fun, inclusive sessions tailored to your dog’s needs
✅ Expert guidance in a safe, controlled environment

Spoiler: They won’t. 😅 Jumping, biting, and chewing don’t magically disappear—you need to guide them.

Time to bust some myths about dog aggression! 💥

🐾 Myth #1: Aggression means my dog is "dominant."
🚫 Nope! It’s usually fear, frustration, or confusion – not a furry power grab.

🐾 Myth #2: A growl means my dog is "bad."
Think of it as your dog saying, “I’m uncomfortable.” Punishing it only shuts down communication. 🙅‍♀️

🐾 Myth #3: Aggressive dogs can’t be helped.
Every dog can learn and improve with the right support – promise. 💪🐕

Another absolutely awesome week teaching at The College Of Scent Dogs Ltd! Such a privilege to teach an incredible group of trainers and handlers on their City & Guilds Scent Dog Instructor course! Pig got to step up too and stand in for one of the student's dogs at the last minute and she absolutely loved it! She was pooped by the end of the week! Well done everyone!
