Although slightly different in height, build & colour, Archie now thinks he’s a Beagle!

Incorporating a little bit of enrichment work in our walk with Bonnie, getting her to do what she does best ‘finding the good stuff’.

Archie just loves her but she can get a little overwhelmed with his playfulness so it’s in moderation & closely monitored.

Just a little bit good news to share with you.

I’ve been patiently waiting for results from IMDT for the zoom sessions I attended back in October for ‘Professional Dog Walking Certification’ and I’m happy to say I passed!

Even though we’ve been doing this for 7 years, I wanted to go back to basics to learn more about laws, standard procedures, animal welfare and many other things to incorporate into the business.

I already had the Certificate of Attendance, it was the green pass I was eagerly awaiting and it’s finally landed in my inbox today!

VETERANS WITH DOGS 🌺🥹🐶🐾

As we approach Remembrance Sunday, here's a gentle reminder about supporting our veterans with sensitivity and understanding:

For many veterans, November can be an intensely challenging month. While Remembrance Sunday is a time of national reflection, for those who served, it can trigger deeply personal memories and emotions that don't need external reminders.

Some veterans may experience heightened symptoms of trauma during this period, including difficulty sleeping, increased anxiety, and overwhelming emotions. What for many is a day of commemoration can for others be a stark reminder of faces and friends lost, and experiences that remain painfully fresh.

If you know a veteran, please understand that they may wish to observe this time privately. There's no need to ask about their experiences or remind them of the significance of the day. Instead, simply being present and available if needed can be the most supportive approach. A simple "How are you doing today?" can mean more than any well-intentioned but potentially triggering remarks.

Remember that each veteran's experience is unique, and there is no "right way" to observe this period. Some may wish to participate in formal ceremonies, while others may prefer quiet reflection or to treat it as any other day.

If you're a veteran struggling during this time, please know that support is always available. You don't have to face these challenges alone.

We honour our veterans not just by remembering, but by understanding and respecting their individual needs during this significant time.

Autumn Lights are touring and this weekend they’ll be heading to Temple Newsam.

The skies will be full of amazing displays, not just this weekend, but also the run up to all celebratory events this time of year.

For some families, it’s a feeling of dread! Human anxieties can top up their pets anxieties when pets are already sensitive to loud noises & bangs….it’s a sensory overload.

Please follow the necessary guidance to ensure the wellbeing and welfare of our pets feel safe & secure.

Beagles have an amazing tracking device and it’s in built! Bonnie’s worked out who, how & when in a matter of seconds just by using her nose……a bit like Cluedo.

That’s a ‘does my bum look big in this’ kind at photo ☺️

Although I didn’t manage Sunday due to literally being ‘under the weather’ I had a great time Saturday. I even got a walkie talkie later in the day!

Thank you . There were dogs in abundance and lovely people that warmed the day through the rain.

Thank you Luke for bringing my sister to find me at the end of the day. Losing phone charge and no signal, they all worked together 🙋🏼‍♀️🤗🐶🐾
