Hi everyone
A lovely client of mine is looking for the following:

Livery or sole use field/yard for 2 horses and 1 Shetland.
1 horse is like Dylan but can live out!

Open to having the younger horse on livery and having the other 2 in a separate place. The Dylan type needs individual turn out.
This is viable if not too far from one another

Circa 20 miles from GU24
Happy to tidy up and do work to a sole use place.
Happy to sub let if appropriate.

Finding a home for the Dylan type and the Shetland is most important as would like this to be the retirement home.

Very respectable owners who come with great references. Message with any solutions and I can pass them over :)

My second appearance in British Grooms Association magazine!

I had a lovely conversation with Kerry all about the Equestrian Business Awards nomination and what it means to me.

Its always a little surreal when you find yourself in a magazine that is posted through 1000s of people's front doors!

Congratulations to rachel for her nomination as well! Can't wait to party and meet everyone face to face at the awards dinner ☺️

Ginger joining the crew and having her glow up! 1st picture taken 30 days ago. 2nd picture taken this morning after a night out....with rain that was nor forecast!

Last winter she suffered with a lymphangitis and her owners were told she would be on a bute a day for the rest of her life. At age 16 this didn't sound right to me.

So I have transformed her nutritional life and her mobility! Everything has played a part in this!!

Pureflax providing all round support and their oil along with Advanced Veteran Formula has supported her skin and immune system amazingly! She now glows and scabs on her legs are healing up.

Saracen Horse Feeds super fibre cubes give all the fibre needed all year round even in this drought and is the bulk of all my feeding along with AlfaA Oil and sugar beet (the proper stuff)

I feed amazing roughage from The Hay Men and have popped her on haylage in the day, with Hay in the fields over night. With this Turn out has been upped and she is allowed to move naturally to keep any swelling down.

She has had a lovely physio session from Rachel Keeble with a plan to build her muscle now. Although out amazing hacking on sight and off has helped build her core already.

Fletcher has transformed her feet already offering her more support over all.

Having a great all round team is key to everything and the tiniest changes can make a difference! I can safely say we are now off the bute completely!

It's a bit of a long story and a short story all at once as to how we got to retirement.

I cried the day I decided it.

But it was for the best. I let him settle in to see how he coped. He seemed very depressed at first. However I knew his hocks couldn't take even light work any more.

Some would have them injected. but his brain is still a worker and he would have broken even more and quicker.

I want him to live a long happy life. He now goes out with a field buddy, has over night turn out, a special pen built for him.

BUT with no work he got a fat sheath! He looked like he had balls 😅

He needed to wiggle the fat! So I did some research and found Horse Straights Direct

The White Willow Bark has been a game changer. And I'm sure the video shows it. it's the only thing I have changed since retirement in October and he's happy to have a canter and trot.

No he's not sound and he doesn't have to be. We all get old and limpy. He has done everything for me and so now I will do everything for him starting with the natural stuff and then we can revise from there!

3 weeks vs. 3 days!

Eton has been with me for 3 weeks. He's in his down time phase, which I believe all ex race horses need coming out of racing.

The 2nd photo is a few days before I picked him up. 3 days before that, he raced! He's still got his race horse muscle and lean look. His temperature and soundness were amazing, taking this into account!

The first photo is him right now! Muscle may be getting less, but that belly is getting a little bigger each day, and that's what I want. Tbs as a breed will keep them selves fit mostly. But I want to be able to turn his Muscle in to dressage Muscle.....so that racehorse Muscle memory needs to go first!

He's being fed basic feed really, pretty much the same as Echo. Along with Pureflax oil and their advanced veteran formula.

He may only be 7 but the purelfax Advanced veteran formula gives him the added vits and mins to aid his down time and keep him super healthy after working hard and fast (sort of) in the first part of his life!

Another pureflax transformation for the team 😊

A NOTE TO ALL 🥰

Thank you to everyone who reccomends me all the time, both by word of mouth or social media.

All these lovely mentions and glowing reviews mean I am fully booked with every day filled from morning to night from NOW until SEPTEMBER.

In SEPTEMBER I have limited availability for those wanting lessons or riding.

OCTOBER is also FULL.

The yard is full as well and bookings for Christmas into next year are already in the diary.

I will be limiting courses throughout September to March next year. This is so I can focus on competing Echo and getting Eton retrained!

Please do keep reccomending though! I am more than happy to meet new clients and their horses, and help where I can.
