Hello everyone 😊

This is a message on behalf of a young lady who is unfortunately having to rehome her two female skinny pigs, Wilma and Gloria (orginally bred by us) due to health issues.
Both were born at the start of 2021, more pics and info can be seen of them further down on our page 🙂

“Gloria is the more confident of the two” “Wilma is the boss” They are both a little nervous but settle when picked up.
“Their set up can go with them if people want it. They do need their own hides otherwise wilma gets stroppy with Gloria. All blankets and I have new corrugated plastic to on the bottom! I have guinea pig nuggets virtually an entire new 14kg bag of them, fleeces, the hides, I can also provide some hay if needs be, all new cable ties to rebuild the grids back up. And I have another box of grids if someone wants to have them if they have the space to build a bigger space! They have to stay together, I couldn't bare for for to be separated!!”- message written by their owner.

Time for a supervised hair cut for Stormi ✂️

With all the long hair on his bum, sometimes it can get wet when he’s running around in the long grass, so a quick trim helps keep him clean and not tangled. It also means he doesn’t need a brush quite so often 💇🏽‍♂️

So, for a while now I’ve been starting to experiment with a specific colour line in breeding. Tinkerbelle, Suzie and Sunset Shimmer (named by my youngest sister and my nephew), who you’ve been introduced to on our page previously, are beautiful outcomes of this. And some of my favourite colour types. We have several other members of their family Im sure you’ll meet at somepoint.
However, I’ve been harbouring some exciting news of a new venture and learning curve for us, involving adding the skinny genetics, improving skinny bloodlines and working with the colours I love 🧬 On this subject, I don’t claim to be a full on expert, but also no one ever truely is as we are always learning. So this is me starting out on this journey.
I know there are many ways I could make these piggie matchups or bloodlines better as well as making better choices originally, however this is currently what I have to work with and it’s with the ones I love and am passionate about, and have parentage history on. So for those of you out there who don’t agree, I say let the haters hate, because all the offspring I have here to introduce will be staying with me, and are all happy, healthy babies. 3 girls and 1 boy, born 26/5/21 to Tinkerbelle and Moto Moto, all skinny carriers. My first ever skinny carriers. And I love them 😍 Aunty Sunsets also featured in the video enjoying some attention.

With all this rain recently and now lovely, sunshine the grass is lush. 🌱Free food and an extra excuse to enjoy the sun, means foraging grass for the piggies and buns currently not able to be out in runs or free ranging. 🌞🐇🐹

REMINDER: With this heat it’s extra important animals outside are able to get shade and as normal, always have access to fresh water. The heat can quickly become detrimental to their health. We often freeze bottles of water to help them be able to cool off.
