🌺🌟🌈 POPPY 🌈🌟🌺

This week me and the gang had the absolute pleasure of looking after Poppy, a 4-month-old Cockerpoo pup, while her humans went on holiday. 💛

Poppy might be tiny, but oh my, she’s brave! She threw herself into every adventure, made besties with dogs - big and small, and proved to be the polite little houseguest every boarding paw-rent dreams of. 🐾

From paddock zoomies to snuggles, she took it all in her stride – and honestly, she’s completely stolen my heart. 💕

We’ll miss your waggy tail, Poppy – can’t wait to see you again soon! 🐶🌿

🌈🦄🌼 BILLY 🌼🦄🌈

As you all know, I have a very special spot in my heart for goldens… so please meet the youngest and newest to the group 🥹.

Little Billy is 5 months old and walked into daycare like he’d been part of the gang forever 🐾
Golden retriever sunshine from nose to tail, nothing phased him. He got straight in to it with the zoomies, making pals left, right and centre (Ragnar, Frank and Olive were clear favourites) and happily soaking up all the tricks and wisdom from the older ones. 🧡

He loved finding the perfect garden spot for a good chill… and even managed a little bit of mischief (just enough to keep me on my toes!)😂💁🏻‍♀️
Equal parts cuddly and chaos, smart as anything, and so much fun to have around – Woof and Wander would have you back anytime Mr Billy 💛.

👨🏻‍🦳👑🦄 VIP OLDIES 🦄👑👨🏻‍🦳

As you may already know, I’ve got the biggest soft spot for the golden oldies — and Shadow is the queen of them all. Stubborn as anything, loud with her opinions, and absolutely hilarious without meaning to be. She’s slowed down a bit, but still runs the show in her own brilliant way.

Let me introduce you all to the most gorgeous, 12.5-year-old fluffy sausage 💁🏻‍♀️

She’s basically the definition of pure soul. 🐾
Doesn’t ask for much in life… just a warm lap for snuggles, a few gentle strolls with her adorable little trot, and maybe the occasional treat (or five 👀).

Because she’s a wise old queen 👑, she’s got her very own set of sofa steps AND a crash pad – so she can hop up for cuddles and glide down in style. Honestly, she’s living the dream.

I’ve got such a soft spot for the oldies – they’re absolute VIPs in my book. That slow, sweet wisdom? Just melts me.

Lola, you’re the sweetest, softest, most heart-melting little noodle and we’re so lucky to have your gentle magic here with us 💛

🤍💛🖤🧡🤎 THE LAB GANG 🤎🧡🖤💛🤍

Honestly, is there anything better than a pack of Labs? Absolute chaos with a side of the best puppy dog eyes you ever did see 💁🏻‍♀️.

👑 Norman – desperately wants to be top dog, but he’s far too much of a softie to pull it off. Bless him.
🥰 Reggie – a giant loveable smush who thinks everyone is his best friend (he’s not wrong).
🎉 Tilly – part kangaroo, part whirlwind, all heart.
🍼 Rafferty – baby of the group, growing into the loveliest little gent.
🤣 Bonnie – a complete nutter, in the best possible way. Keeps us all laughing.
👵 Bracken – the sweetest old lady with the kindest eyes and softest soul.
💛 Olive – the beautiful rescue girl, who’s settled right in and absolutely loves her daycare days.
😴 Nala – professional napper, wakes up just in time for her gentle afternoon plod.
📣 Indi – Nala’s sister, trying her absolute best to be a big brave girl. She’s finding her way, one woof at a time, and I’m so proud of her.
🌸 Dory – the newest little lady, so gentle and polite it’s like she’s saying “excuse me” with every tail wag. An absolute sweetheart.

They make daycare loud, funny, sweet, and just a little bit chaotic – and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🐾

🌟🌷🌼 WEEKEND ROUND UP 🌼🌷🌟

Slow starts, big zoomies and even bigger splashes. Paws muddy, towels on permanent rotation, and I’m fairly sure I still smell of wet spaniel. Here’s the roll call… 🐾

Flo has fully embraced the lie-ins (she’s my soul sister) and then tore round the forest like a rocket 🌲💨

Twiggy has chased the ball, wrestled with willow and taken her neighbourhood watch duties very seriously from the front window 👀

Finn was SO excited to go swimming with Chester 💦 and then loved taking himself off to chill and for a proper chew on his chicken roll in the garden 🪴

Willow? Basically turned aquatic. Spent the whole weekend swimming and then LOVED wrestling in the lounge. She was not so thrilled about her bath… but a Jumbo quickly won her round 😅

And little Jessie — very nearly brave enough to swim! But preferred curling up on the sofa for lap cuddles and was more than happy to supervise the chaos from there 💛

Tail wags, muddy floors, happy hearts. ❤️

The beautiful little whirlwind in Spaniel form 💨🐾

At just one year old, Betty is a bundle of joy, energy, and endless enthusiasm. She’s completely gorgeous, endlessly funny, and absolutely convinced that everyone she meets is her new best friend.

She keeps me on my toes, fills my days with laughter, and brings so much love (and a little bit of mayhem) wherever she goes.

Life with Betty is never quiet — but it’s always full of heart. 💛

Meet the fluffiest, friendliest, most fabulous crew in town — our beloved Golden Gang!

🐶 Chester & Quinn – My very own boys, and the official management team here at Woof and Wander. They set the golden standard for fun and cuddles – always first to greet new gang members with wagging tails and cheeky charm.

🐾 Ton – Our OG Golden Recruiter. I first met this handsome chap when I worked in a bar – he’d drag his dad in for a biscuit, and I fell completely in love. He’s the reason this golden gang even exists. A true legend!

🐶 Gracie & Bailey – The gorgeous sibling duo. Gracie’s the softie, full of golden kisses, and Bailey’s the cheeky one, always plotting a playtime - and finding the next spot to dig a hole!

🐾 Seamus – The gentle soul. Always by someone’s side offering calm cuddles or lying majestically in a sunny patch like he owns the place.

🐶 Ralph – The class clown. Forever pulling silly faces and cracking us up – and completely obsessed with Chester. Wherever Chester goes, Ralph’s not far behind!

🐾 Finn – Our zoomie king! Known for mid-agility sprints, dramatic sofa flops and pure golden chaos. He’s full of beans and totally brilliant.

🐶 Milo – The baby of the gang. Still growing into those big paws but already full of charm and affection. He’s got everyone wrapped around his fluffy little paw.

🐾 Sidney – The calm and collected one. Nothing fazes Sid – always cool, always composed, and often found observing the madness with a quiet confidence. He’s the gang’s golden zen master.

✨ It’s no secret I’m partial to a Golden (or eight… or nine!) Their goofy grins, endless affection, and boundless joy are everything I stand for here at Woof and Wander.

Now it’s your job to try and remember who’s who?! 😂💁🏻‍♀️

🤭🌈🌼 HOLIDAY HOUNDS 🌼🌈🤭

Leeloo the Afghan 💫 – the ultimate queen of chill. Honestly, I’m not even sure she’s a dog… more like a supermodel-cat hybrid who floats through life without a care in the world 😌 Graceful, calm, and totally unbothered by the chaos around her. She genuinely inspires me to slow down and just be sometimes 🧘‍♀️💛

And then there’s Alfie the Spaniel – full of beans, full of love, and full of the funniest little quirks 🐶 He makes me laugh every single day and has had the best time on his holidays! Tail wags, zoomies, beach sniffs, and all the cuddles – he’s been living his best life and brightening mine too.

Two very different energies, both absolute legends in their own way 🥰

This whirlwind of a collie was down in Cornwall on holiday with his lovely family, but they had a few adventures planned that weren’t dog-friendly… so Bailey came to hang out with us instead 🐾⁠

He slotted straight in with the gang like he’d always been here — full of beans, full of bounce, and absolutely full of character!⁠

Typical collie brain on overdrive, always one step ahead, and absolutely thriving with all the fun and freedom. Whether he was tearing round the paddock, chasing toys in the barn or just getting stuck into the group chaos, he gave it 110% all day long 🌪️⁠

Safe to say Bailey had just as much of a holiday as his humans — and we loved every second with him 💛⁠
