Happy International Woman's Day 🩷

I would like to say that one thing i've grown to appreciate since starting this business is how amazing all the woman i've gotten to know are! I mean this with the most sincerity, you guys are absolutely BOSSING it every day! 🤩

From the beautiful homes I have the privilege of seeing, to the multiple work trips you guys tell me about, the new mums who are figuring it out or even getting to speak to some of your lovely polite kiddies. On top of that, you all love your pets enough to be organised and remember to book them in for walks and pop ins-even when your own schedule is full to the brim at the weekend. Of course not forgetting all the grannies that stand in to help with babysitting duties for kids or puppies I see it all and it's lovely 🥹

To all the dog/cat dads out there, give your woman an extra big hug today because she's amazing and sometimes it's nice to get a reminder through someone else's eyes even if it is a made up day! 🥰

Before I say anything, Denzel would like the record to know that the fluff just exploded at him! 🫢

This boy joined the gang last January as a little tubby & fluffy puppy and he has grown in to the most handsome boy!🥹 As you can see, he has some of the best facial expressions and I think these few pictures show his personality very clearly! He's a boy who loves his zoomies, belly rubs and shouting at me with his very loud voice!🤣

Denzel does like other pups and has met a few of my other walkers during the past year but he is a very strong boy so normally we stick to pop ins where he gets to dictate what we do during my time there whether it's cuddles or playtime he's happy to have the company either way!

Next up on the spotlight is our wee Kizzy 🥰

Kizzy Joined me in September 2023, I immediately started calling her brown Tess because they are so similar!

She is one of the most friendly dogs i've met to date and because of this I often use her as a guinea pig when introducing new dogs 🤣 As you can see, she's very popular, Kizzy is open to a game of chasies or wrestling but she's also happy to walk along side another pup for a sniffy walk! She's really good with puppies and knows how to build their confidence up and introduce them to play, so if your puppy joined Precious Petsitting after Kizzy, she was probably the first pup they met!

About the bunchies... as much as Miss Kizzy loves a good run about in the muck she's also a pampered princess who gets groomed once a week! I love to see what she's wearing every day I pick her up as you never know what you'll get I know my clients love to see her all dressed up too! 😂

One thing to know about Kizzy is that she is a cuddle monster, when she boarded with me recently it was so lovely getting to see that side of her 🥰

Probably my least favourite thing to post but spring is upon us so it's time for me to remind you about fleas! 📢

I know the topic makes peoples skin crawl (myself included) but the truth is a lot of people don't know what to expect until it happens and when it happens it can be very difficult to control and contain. There is a stigma surrounding fleas but the truth is any dog or cat can pick them up fairly easily!

For this reason i'd like to remind everyone I have strict flea policies for all Precious Petsitting animals, it is important to be open and honest and help protect all the animals in my care- it really is a team effort in my eyes.

Please feel free to message me if you'd like to learn more about what you're looking for, prevention and what steps to take if you find fleas without any judgement. All I can think is how sore and horrible it must be for any animal suffering with fleas so i'm happy to help in any way I can 🩷

How long he's been with me?
Alfies mum got in touch for a one off last January and he's stayed ever since! We've even had some sleepovers too! 🥰

How old is he?
He's a little senior man but he has plenty of energy!

Nicknames?
Alfred and Alfredo 🤣

How often do I see him?
Alfies mummy sometimes works long days instead of from home, that's when I step in to make sure he doesn't miss her company too much! He isn't a fan of other dogs so we don't do any walks with friends, just one to one and that's how he likes it!

What is something about Alfie you should know?
He is a FOODIE, loves his grub so don't mess with him when it comes to treats. He also lives for belly rubs and sniffy walkies 🥰

Hi guys, another post about holidays! Feeling organised for once with my planning, I turn 25 in May so I will be spending it abroad to avoid a quarter life crisis 🤣

If there's one thing lockdown taught me it's to stop waiting and just book the trip when you can! I am so thankful that in this job I can have the flexibility to do that 🥹

She's a cockapoo but not like any i've ever met before 🤣

Tessica 🤣

Who is her Best friend?
Nellie the golden retriever is her bestie, they clicked instantly and have been friends ever since! She loves anyone who will play with her or have she good chasies! Her boyfriends include Travis and Chip (she's a big flirt) 🫢

What is something about Tess you should know?
Where there's mess- there's Tess as you can see in one of these pictures 🤣 She is one of the most bonkers girls but when she comes to board she actually is a cuddly monster which you wouldn't think when you're out walking! If you're new to Precious Petsitting and you say your dog likes to play, they go through the "Tess Test" if they play with her, they will play with anyone!

Spring cleaning!🥰

It's round the corner so while you're starting to clear out please remember to declutter old leads, collars and harnesses. Keeping some for sentimental reasons is fine as long as they aren't in regular use 🩷

I can not stress enough how the quality and safety of these products decreases over time, a good tip is to think of how many dog walks your dog has been on since you bought the collar, harness or lead?In my experience ESPECIALLY Flexi leads, this are not replaced as often as they should be I promise it WILL snap it's not if it's when.

We all know that wear and tear happens on our own clothes and shoes to the point where we chuck them. The same rule applies to your pet products, don't let it cause an accident when you're out walking, prevention is far easier than dealing with the consequence if a collar fails when your pup is out walking!

Over the weekend, I asked clients what they want to see more of. Some of them said profiles of the dogs that I walk, I know some faces are better known than others on my social media! 🤣

The truth is that it's very hard to summarise my lovely pups by a Facebook post, they have so much heart and soul there's only so much pictures and videos can get across. I am blessed to be a part of their lives and I love sharing all their little happy faces with you! I know it cheers up peoples Facebook feeds which I find can often be negative places in this day and age! So i'm going to start doing some profiles during the week about my little gang, stay tuned to learn more about these gorgeous faces 🥰

Hi guys, just a wee note to say I will be off over the Easter break, I find that bank holidays can be a bit quieter for walks and due to my partners job having limitations I have to take advantage of that even if it clashes with peak boarding times!

It's a long winter when you're a dog walker so the thought of a few days in the sun is a must to keep me going 🤣

Last few days to get applications in! 💕

As many of you know, I am very fortunate to be extremely busy! As a result, I have decided it is now time for Precious Petsitting to grow. I know that with the right person, I will be able to improve my services for my regulars that don't get the best of me when i'm stretched too thin! I can only be in one place at one time and unfortunately that means sometimes bookings have limited availability 🙈

I would like to ask anyone who is interested in applying for this position to have a look at the job description attached below and get in touch via E-mail 📧

I want to assure my customers that this will be a very thorough process to ensure I find the right person, if I do not feel that I have found them I will not be hiring. I would rather wait to get this right as your pets safety and wellbeing is my number one priority always. I will keep open and clear communication with you all as I move through this process and I would welcome any shares of this post to make sure the right eyes eventually see it!
