We've had a busy couple of days hosting both the Army League and the RLC training clinic.
All the horses did us proud behaving beautifully and the riders all came away with big smiles.
The new Arena XC jumps were a big hit and gave the riders a chance to do some XC training on a surface whilst the ground is hard. Look out for upcoming clinics and shows where we we give more riders the chance to train over these.

He's back........A clinic everyone has been after. International Showjumper Johnathan Bowman is doing a showjumping Clinic Mon 2nd June.
Hirelings are available for those without their own horse.

She back for 1 day. Kirstin McCosh has been working back at The King's troop in London and a lot of our clients (particularly to small ones) have said how much they are missing her.
This Sunday (18th May) she has kindly agreed to take the lessons so everyone can catch up with her. Book in quick as these lessons won't be available for long.

Due to the expansion of the riding school and number of lessons we provide we have some new positions opening.

TEACHING STAFF
We are looking for both level 2 and 3 coaches to join our team. Regular or adhoc hours. Evening, weekend and daytime hours available. Hourly pay, rate depends on experience.

DEPUTY YARD MANAGER
Due to the ever increasing workload of our Yard Manager we are now looking for a deputy to help run the yard. Stage 3 stable management and stage 3 coach or equivilent is required for this position. Previous experience in a similar role advantageous but not essential. There will be times you will be left in charge of the yard and supervising a team of 15 members of staff so leadership experience is preferred but again not essential. We are a large yard with nearly 100 horses on site. A mixture of School horses and Liveries. The successful candidate will need to be confident at overseeing the yard in the Yard manager's absence. This would involve overseeing the horses welfare as well dealing with livery and riding school clients' queries. 30,000 per annum. Pension, 5 weeks holiday and uniform provided.

There's no better way to start the weekend than a hack across Salisbury Plains.
During the lighter evenings we will being offering 2 hacks every Friday Evening. A slower paced one for those who like to chill and take in the views and a faster one for the adrenaline junkies in our client base.
These will be in addition to our Saturday afternoon hacks.
Please note these are only available for clients 12years and over due to horse availability and clients must be graded novice and above.

That's a wrap for Larkhill Eventing BE Horse Trails 2025. Is has been so exciting being a part of this event. Thanks again to all our members who flew the Royal Artillery Saddle Club Larkhill flag at the event.
It was particular nice to see our showjumps being used, especially the brand new ones which our members will get a chance to jump over at our clear round event in 2 weeks.

A massive thanks to all of our members who are giving up their time to help at Larkhill Eventing annual Horse Trials event. What an amazing opportunity to meet some of the competitors at the top of the sport. We are so lucky to be a part of this amazing event.

Massive thanks to for their generous donation of trax waterproof trainers for all of our staff. These super comfy trainers are perfect for summer on the yard.
Some of the staff were lucky enough to have a tour of the head office and warehouse. What an amazing place this is. Not only does this company have amazing products they do so much to reduce their carbon footprint and help local businesses.

Our new Arena dividers are up and we are really excited as it means we can double our lesson capacity by having 2 group lessons happening at the same time, whilst leaving a space free for our liveries to ride.
