A Loving Retirement Home Wanted for a Very Special Special Horse 🐴
This is an extremely difficult post to write but it's what's best for our gorgous boy Toby.
After ten years of loyal service helping people discover the joy of riding, we are searching for a kind and quieter home for this wonderful horse. He is 16.2hh and 17 years old.
For the past decade he has been an absolute star, patiently teaching both military and riding school clients to ride, having gained the title of Horse of The Year at the AEA awards in 2024.
Countless riders have taken their first steps in the saddle with him, building confidence and learning the basics thanks to his generous nature. He has given so much of himself over the years, and now it is his turn to enjoy a slower pace of life.
He is a kind, honest horse with a big heart, who has always taken great care of his riders but he is keen and forward when out hacking.
He would suit a home that appreciates what a special horse he is and understands that, after a lifetime of teaching others, his comfort and happiness now come first. Whether that’s hacking, low-key riding, or a peaceful retirement with plenty of fuss and turnout, we are committed to finding the right match for him.
The best home is far more important than price, but in order to start the impossible task of finding his replacement we are asking a small amount for him.
