🌡️ Please take extra care with dogs in the heat!
With local temperatures reaching over 30°C today and continuing into the weekend, it’s vital to keep your dogs cool and safe.

🐾 Avoid walking them during the hottest parts of the day
💧 Ensure they have constant access to fresh water
🏡 Keep them in shaded or cool indoor areas

Heatstroke can be life-threatening – if in doubt, leave all walks for the cooler early mornings or evenings. Stay safe and keep your pets cool!

We’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our country-based, small animal practice.

We’re an independent, vet owned practice with a team of five vets. Staff retention and client loyalty are important to us. We strive for a happy atmosphere and sustainable work/life balance. You’ll benefit from excellent facilities in our refurbished practice.

We also support our vets to follow their own interests and will help you to discover your niche area of expertise.

Our current team interests include:
* Julian (Owner) – Soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery
* Hermione – Ultrasound imaging and cardiology
* Jemima – Managing medical cases, soft tissue surgery and laboratory work
* Maddy – Equine, consulting and practice policy
* Ethan – Recently completed his GDP and is enjoying dentals and soft tissue surgery

The contract will cover a four-day week (a three-day week is possible upon discussion). No night duties will be required, with the exception of inpatient care.
