Did someone say Christmas! 😲🎄🎅🏻 Yes we did! 😏

Our first Christmas event is now open and ready to be booked by you lovely people!

The Blue Barn Candle Company one of our amazing supporters, will be holding a festive candle making workshop, all in aid of Animal Care. 💚💙

The booking includes all the materials to make the beautiful candle, all candles are made in a gold Christmas bauble and a yummy afternoon tea made by the Animal Care Tea Room. 🍰☕️

100% of the ticket cost is being donated to the animals so book yours now as they sellout fast every year! 🎟️

Also don’t forget we stock Blue Barn Candles and wax melts in our main reception at the Sanctuary and we have just had a refill. 🕯️🎁

At the start of the month we revealed we are 1 in 4 of the finalists for The Animal Award at the BBC Radio Lancashire, Make a Difference Awards 2026! 🥳🥳🥳

We are so excited and we get to find out if we have won on Saturday 12th September. We have all our fingers and paws crossed, as this would mean sooooooo much to us! 🤞🐾

BBC Radio Lancashire came to interview Faye our General Manager about the charity and what this award means to us.

Animal Care would like to thank Eden, Nancy, Penelope, Caspar and Quentin for raising £50.75 from a cake sale.

They all made and sold cakes to raise money for the animals, what an amazing thing to do!
