Another big milestone for Chip and Dale today! Both had a much needed bath! They were both very good and enjoyed being pampered. Lisa our new dog groomer is fantastic with worried dogs and did a great job. 🩷

We are looking for a cook and baker for our tea rooms 2 days a week from 9am to 4:30pm.

Thinking of getting a rabbit to join your family?
This Saturday 10am-3pm Animal Care will be having an adoption drive for our rabbits that have been waiting for a new home for a long time. Come and meet all our rabbits, ask for advice on rabbit care, housing, bonding, feeding and handling.
hopefully we can find your perfect new rabbit.

Could you be a foster home for some of our older rabbits that’s struggle to find new homes and just need a retirement home?

Love rabbits and would like to volunteer your time to help us socialise them.

If we haven’t got the right rabbit for you at the moment we can take your details and contact you when we do 😁

We are absolutely delighted to let everyone know that last month Animal Care was awarded a grant with the pets foundation. This grant will pay for two brand new secure dog paddocks for our rescue dogs to enjoy. We can’t wait to get started and let our dogs enjoy more time out the kennels enjoying some fresh air and play time.

We are so thankful to WCF Country & Garden Centre for their ongoing support…whether it’s their Easter and Christmas gift-giving campaigns to us, donations of animal food and treats from
kind customers, their unique and brilliantly designed ‘Donate a pound’ tube totaliser at the till (no-one else has one -it’s a work of art) as well as gifts of fantastic prizes and generous sponsorship of the Animal Care Dog Show at Gala… and now this!!
Thank you so much to Helen, Sarah, Michelle, Helen and the team. We always enjoy our visits to you, and we always find quality products to buy for ourselves and our pets.

We are proud to work with Animal Care, Lancaster as our chosen charity.
They do fantastic work from taking in animals, caring for them and then finally rehoming them.
None of this would be possible without their team of selfless volunteers and donations from members of the public.
Today we were extremely pleased to present Steph and adopted dog Maggie with a cheque for £300 which will go a little way to keep them doing the fantastic work that they do!
We have an Animal Care charity stand in store where you can buy pet products to be donated and a '£1 borrow-a-book' scheme.

ps if you're local they have a fabulous cafe for breakfasts, lunches or just a brew and a cake with all profits going straight into caring for their animals.
