A slightly different week this week with the warmer weather ☀️🐾

Some walks were swapped for drop-ins on the hottest days, while the rest of the gang enjoyed plenty of shaded routes and trips down to the river to cool off 💦

The dogs’ welfare is always the top priority, and thankfully everyone stayed happy and comfortable despite the warmer temperatures 🐶😊

By the looks of things, it’s back to the usual Scottish weather this week, so normal service resumes! 😅🌧️

☀️ Hot Weather Reminder ☀️

With the warmer weather arriving this week, your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always come first 🐾

On hotter days, walks may be:
• shortened
• moved to cooler times where possible
• swapped for shaded/sniff walks
• or replaced with drop-ins, toilet breaks and enrichment visits depending on the temperature and how the dogs are coping 😊

As much as we all enjoy the sunshine, Scottish dogs aren’t always used to exercising in higher temperatures, so I’d always rather be cautious than risk them overheating ☀️🐶

A great week spent looking after Sully during a home stay while his mum was away on holiday 🐾

Safe to say he enjoyed being my wee sidekick for the week, joining the group walks during the day and making some new pals 😊

All solo walk and drop-in spaces are currently full, but I do still have availability for group walks and home pet sitting if you’d like your dog to stay comfortable in their own home while you’re away 😎
