ASHER 💛 the five year old Goldendoodle is currently enrolled in the Obedience Training Program 🐾

Outside of reviewing basic manners, we are working on not pulling on the leash and building confidence in new environments and around distractions.

It’s exciting to see the stronger bond and working relationship between dogs and their owners during training. I can’t wait to see more progress in the coming weeks!

Honey 🍯 had an excellent lesson this afternoon in Bury St. Edmunds. This was her first time working around big distractions and she showed off her skills by quickly relaxing in unknown environments. Great job! 💛

HONEY 🍯 💛 the 7 month old Golden Retriever is currently enrolled in the Obedience Training program 🐾

This sweet girl will be learning basic commands to improve her behavior, increase her confidence, and decrease those naughty puppy behaviors. I’m excited to see what she can accomplish in the coming weeks!

While improving obedience skills, we will be building engagement around distractions to have calm and happy public outings. Good luck, pup! 🐶

TRAINER TIP TUESDAY 💜🐾

Reward the behavior you want!
• Want your dog to stop barking? Reward them for being quiet.
• Want your dog to walk nicely on leash? Reward them for walking politely.
• Want your dog to relax? Reward them for relaxed behavior.

You will have much more success in training by rewarding the behaviors you want, rather than disciplining the behaviors you don’t want.

Welcome back, Hagrid! 🐾🎓

I love working with returning clients! As a 2024 Obedience graduate, Hagrid and his owners are back in training to work through some reactivity issues so his excellent leash manners can be put to good use.

I can’t wait to see how Hagrid progresses using Behavioral Adjustment Training ™️.

Congratulations, Hiya! 🩷🎓

Hiya and her owners have been working extensively over the last month (in the dreary English weather) on her reactivity issues. With what started as lots of discomfort around strangers that would turn into an explosion of barking, we’ve been able to build up Hiya’s confidence to walk down a busy side walk without issue. I’m so proud of her progress, and I know daily walks are going to get better and better!

And that’s a wrap for UK Clients in 2024! Thank you to everyone for your continued support. 🙌🏻
