Celebrating all of the teams that took part in the Ace Tails Scentwork school pairs final last night! You all did amazing, covering those huge areas and working out those tricky hides that I know Belinda Zorab and Nikki Thorpe would of delighted in setting 😉

Thanks to my mum who worked Atticus as I was unable to attend, first time seeing such huge areas 🤣 and of course my team mate Carole Harris with her super dog Olaf!!

Here are some photos of the amazing teams 🎉🎉🎉

Team Spanner who went and WON!!!!! well done Abi and Bella!!! ❤️

Well done to Denise and Shaz, Sarah and Beth who came joint second. You're awesome!!!

Spending the next few days with my own dog East, today at a training show, tomorrow a Team GB Day and Saturday at a competition.

Emails, messages and general admin is going to be a bit slack. This is one of my favourite few HTM days so I'm kicking back and enjoying spending time with good friends, amazing trainers and my beautiful best boy 💙

What a day of The National Nosework Association trials!

An Enhanced this morning which saw a super high standard from everyone! Some tricky searches but some brilliant teams ❤️

🎉 Winner was Emma and Alys who got all badges, staged up AND awarded a synergy for their interior.

🎉 Runner up was Medwyn and Ziggy who had a super duper trial.

This afternoon there was a Pre Entry with 9 teams competing. Congratulations all, your dogs did so well with some beautiful teamwork!

🎉 Winner was Claire and Jake who had a lovely trial.

🎉 Reserve was Deb and Alfie who now stage up to Entry!

Finally, let me say a gigantic thank you to Nikki of Ace Tails Scentwork and Emma of Puppy Plus who came at last minute to co-judge with me today. Your kindness allowed these teams to spend the day doing what they loved with their dogs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️❤️

This week has been a sniffy one!!

Atticus, the "baby spaniel" and I entered two Pairs Competition Heats with Ace Tails Scentwork. They saw us searching for 15mins and unknown hide numbers and all sorts of challenges on the way around.

We came third in our first heat and went and won our second heat taking us through to both finals 🤯🤯🤯

Then today, we took our tired brains down to a Pre Entry competition for The National Nosework Association and managed to pull it together for a reserve medal.

Proud of him, lots to work on, but more to come! Really enjoyed exploring new venues, picking up ideas for my own training plan and also for challenges to set teams in my own classes. I love where scent work can take you!

Thursdays are for 💃💃💃💃 at Presteigne Memorial Hall !

We've been looking at music, sequences, putting routines together and much more over the last few weeks. These teams work really hard each week and I love being a part of their Freestyle journey.

I didn't get a snap of Sally and Hubble but they were there too, doing really well!!

25/07/2025

On Wednesday we began "Selection Bootcamp" four weeks looking at the skills needed for this specific element of National Nosework Association trials.

Two groups took part and I can't wait to see their progress! Here is Wilf, smashing it!
