It's always wonderful to see our clients coming together to help local wildlife! 🦔💚

Earlier this week, one of our lovely clients contacted us after discovering a litter of baby hedgehogs living under their decking. Sadly, there had been no sign of mum for quite some time, and they were concerned about how the little ones were coping.

We got in touch with the amazing Anne, who dedicates so much of her time to caring for hedgehogs and swifts. True to form, she was straight there and more than happy to help.

We visited yesterday to see how they were getting on and Anne is doing a fantastic job. The babies were also taken to pricklypigshedgehogrescue for a health check, where it was discovered they were dehydrated, malnourished and needed to gain some weight. They will remain there for now until they reach around 400g.

Once they're ready, they'll return to Anne's care, where she'll continue fostering them and helping them develop all the skills they'll need before returning to the wild. We hear she may even have some midnight foraging expeditions planned for them! 😉🌙

Anne has also given some local children the very important responsibility of naming our five little hogs, and we're eagerly awaiting the results! Until then, they've affectionately been nicknamed "The Jackson 5" 🦔🎵

A huge thank you to both of our wonderful clients for stepping up to help these little hedgehogs. Anne's dedication to local wildlife is truly inspiring, and we're looking forward to sharing more updates on their progress soon! 🦔 🩷
