Hi everyone 🐾

I’m so excited to officially announce the launch of my new business — Ryes K9 & Equine Services, offering tailored pet care in Kirton and surrounding areas 🐾🐴

My whole life has always revolved around dogs and horses, with over 15 years of equine experience and a decade working within the horse racing industry, I’ve had the opportunity to work with and care for some very impressive high-end horses in a professional, fast-paced environment. Alongside my equine experience, I have also previously worked with a dog rescue and had the pleasure of growing up with a house full of animals, which has only strengthened my passion and love for animal care.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I’m proud to now offer both canine and equine services combining my experience, knowledge and genuine dedication to animal welfare.

I aim to provide a reliable and professional service, ensuring every animal receives the highest standard of care and attention. Whether it’s dogs or horses, all the way down to your smaller furry friends, your animals wellbeing will always be my priority!

I am DBS checked, insured and ready to be your pets new best friend 🐾

Thank you to everyone who has already shown support — it really does mean a lot as I begin this new journey. I’m looking forward to meeting both you and your four-legged friends 🐶🐴

📝 My books are temporarily CLOSED to new clients - including siblings 📝

❌ Cancellations/ re-arranging ❌
PLEASE, if you know you cannot make your appointment, wish to cancel or re-arrange, please let me know as soon as possible. At the moment, it is a case of swapping to get you back in. There will be a cancellation fee of the following:
- 50% if cancellations are made within 48 hours of your appointment
- 100% within 24 hours including no shows/cancellations on the day.

This must be paid before any future appointments are made or honoured. As a small business, I cannot stress this enough that this is my WHOLE income to support myself, business and my home, I am in the struggling times just like you and the missed appointments soon begin to cause a worry for the bills. A massive thank you to everyone who offers to pay without me having the ask, it’s never an easy message to send.

🗓️Block booking:🗓️
If you are a current client at The Fur Dressers and wish to block book your future appointments please message me. *At least 2 appointments ahead* would be beneficial. Clients that can only do specific days/times or on a 4-5 week schedule, it would be beneficial for you to be 3 appointments ahead.

Brush your dog.

💷 Payments 💷
All payments for dog grooms MUST be paid before leaving the salon, or on the morning of the appointment. This is for ALL clients of The Fur Dressers. Cash or bank transfer is accepted.

🚽 Bathroom time 🚽
Please can we try to ensure your pets have been to the toilet before their appointment. Nobody likes a pamper while needing the loo!

☀️ Weather Update ☀️
With the hot temperatures I will be monitoring the salon temperature and moving any dogs as necessary to ensure they are safe in this heat. Thank you to everyone who has helped me juggle tomorrow which is hopefully the worst of them for this week. I do my best to keep the salon as cool as I can but there is only so much I can do unfortunately. Where possible, dogs should be brought in an already cooled car so they don’t turn up already hot. You are welcome to bring their own water bottles that they are used to for use throughout the groom and it will be offered regularly.
