Yard Manager – Full Time (Including Weekends)
Pathhead Equestrian Centre is a friendly, grassroots riding school catering to riders from age 5+.
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Yard Manager to join our team, full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
🟢 Deliver lessons to a wide range of clients, from complete beginners upwards
🟢 Carry out and oversee daily yard duties, including mucking out, turnout, feeding, and tacking up
🟢 Exercise and school riding school horses, training liveries, and young horses
🟢 Manage and support a small team of yard staff and instructors. First Aid, safeguarding and full disclosure required.
🟢 Organise and oversee the smooth daily running of the yard
🟢 Ensure high standards of horse care, including monitoring tack, horse welfare, and yard maintenance
🟢 Liaise with external professionals including vets, farriers, physiotherapists, and dentists
🟢 Maintain health & safety standards, including first aid
Requirements:
🟢 Confident teaching ability across all levels
Strong horse care and yard management experience
🟢Leadership and team management skills
Relevant qualifications (BHS, ABRS, PC,UK preferred)
