Beware the HARVEST MITES

Harvest mites are tiny, bright orange mites and their infestations are most common on the feet, legs and ears. they can be seen as orange dots in a dog’s skin and fur .

Their bites can cause red, itchy and inflamed skin.

They can cause problems for dogs in the late summer and autumn, being found in long grass and woodlands.

Treating harvest mites is simple and can be prevented with regular flea treatments and by avoiding at risk areas.
