🩸Happy World Blood Donor Day! 🩸

This year’s theme is ‘give blood, give hope’, shining a light on the life-changing impact of blood donation and the incredible sense of community that comes from giving selflessly to help others.
Did you know...
There are 13.5 million dogs in the UK, but only 0.02% of them donate blood! For humans, it is 7%
The dogs who donate blood make the biggest difference, but more donors are needed to ensure blood is always available for any dog that needs it.
Dogs giving blood means that:
Sick and injured dogs receive the critical care they need
Vets have fast access to lifesaving blood products
Families are given more time with the pets they love
Hope is restored, one wagging tail at a time.
