I have these surplus from a mistaken order last week. Absolutely nothing wrong with them. The customer had ordered orange padding and for some reason I did black.

Hi just a quick update on orders.....
We have 3 orders left still to be completed.
An order for 10 harnesses. One for 12 harnesses and the final one is 10 harnesses as well. Apart from that we are closed for business now. It's really hard trying to get the motivation to do these last orders but we don't want to let anyone down. We also can't move on with our own lives till we get them blitzed.
The first 10 will hopefully be done by the end of next week. The other 2 I want finished by end of February.

Closing down....
Good morning everyone. This will definitely be our final season making equipment now. We still have orders to complete but won't be taking anymore orders from now on. Our plan was to finish off all our webbing etc before we finished up but it's just to difficult finding the time and desire to work on orders and the longer we drag it on, means we can't properly get started on other plans. So we have to make the decision to halt it properly to be able to move on with our lives.
We'll say cheerio properly when we finish orders but this is just to let you know that we'll not be taking anymore orders now.

Rundug was tagged in a post about the best harnesses to avoid harness twist. I couldn't comment because comments were turned off. The main reason for harness twist in a harness is wrong size, followed by not good geometry in the harness. If the geometry is good then getting the right size will massively reduce harness twist. Double webbing on the chest is not an ideal solution. It makes the overall chest area of the harness too wide and will cause chaffing on the inside of the leg/armpit. Sime dogs have really deep chests and are really difficult to cure but getting the aforementioned points right and it will be reduced.

An interesting weekend for sure. Orders have been non stop. I honestly don't know what to think of Rundug now. It's definitely a nice feeling being able to do business with our friends in America again though. There has always been a warmth from our US customers that we don't get from any other country in the world. I don't know why that is. A warmth, an understanding, an open friendliness that we've always appreciated and loved. Politics is driving everything crazy and I feel sorry for all Americans just now. They are having to put up with a lot of grief. But Rundug has always had a good bond with our friends across the pond and we love and appreciate that.....no matter what the future is for Rundug. 🙏❤️

"Back in business"
Some good news at last. We have been informed by Royal Mail that we can ship to US with them again. Supposedly it's pretty straightforward, with customs charges being paid before shipment.
We still have quite a bit of webbing that ideally needs used. We are not planning on ordering anymore at the moment. We will see how business goes over the next few months to see what our future plans are. We know this will be good news to those of you that have been getting in touch but also others that have been hoping to get stuff. So for those of you that would like to invest in some quality harnesses for your team, now is the time. Shipping Worldwide again.

Some stock for sale and a quick update.

Harnesses for sale are 2 orange tugs, which are ###L, dogs approx 34 to 38kg ish.
1 pink tug for dogs that are approx 16/17kg ish.

We are still receiving enquiries for orders but still aren't taking anything else on just now. Not sure if that will change or not in the future. We still have lots of our Rundug webbing though and might well decide to do something to finish that off. We can't even think about it just now though. It's a real struggle to find the enthusiasm to carry on in any capacity anymore. Will that change in a few months time, I really don't know just now.

Sad news folks.

Feel a bit sick posting this but here goes.

As of today we are ceasing all orders for Rundug. It's been a dire summer with the falling away of the US market with no sign of improvement. We've had a US order returned to us at the weekend with no indication of what the problem is. We can only assume US customs are returning them for reasons to do with the tarrifs. Unfortunately we are not in a position to custom make orders, for them to be returned to us from US customs. We are also not able to run this business as a full time business without the US custom base. Brexit was bad for us in Europe and now Trump has finished things for us in US.
We are at present not sure of what the future holds. We still have webbing, materials etc but are not taking anymore orders until we evaluateproperly.
All orders in the system will of course be completed and shipped.

US customers just incase you didn't believe it. This is the reality of Trumps Tarrifs. It'll probably finish it for us. We weren't your enemy. We weren't flooding your market with cheap far eastern imports. Our products were generally more expensive than your own. We were simply offering you an alternative and it was working quite nicely for all of us. Unfortunately our small business will just be one of millions of others that will be negatively affected and I'm not quite sure how that's supposed to make the economy better off.
