Then BTRC is here to help - we are Britain's largest and oldest charity established to protect the welfare of retired racehorses. Due to the great success of our re-homing program almost all our horses that have completed their retraining programs have now gone to their forever loan homes. Therefore we now have vacancies for new horses. Due to the terrible impact that COVID-19 has had on many individuals, we have decided to prioritise all horses whose futures have become vulnerable due to the pandemic and can’t be sold or re-homed through the normal channels or perhaps due to injury or behavioural issues. **Client notice**

At the moment it's business as usual but i will be following advice from the government and farriery regulatory bodies.

As long as your horse doesn't need holding i am happy to work without owners being present and invoices will be issued online as usual.

I will be following social distancing guidelines but i am lucky to work in a profession where i can do my job with little to no human interaction if necessary.

Until i am instructed otherwise I will continue to practice on the grounds of animal welfare, obviously if anyone in my household develops symptoms i will cease immediately.
