UPDATE
Owner found and dog reunited.

We have had a small male chihuahua handed in who was found in Brough today. He is chipped but sadly the details are not up to date. If you have any information or think this could be your dog please get in touch.

We have sadly had another deceased cat found on the A66, at the Sandford junction. It is black and white adult neutered male, sadly not microchipped. Please contact the practice if you think this could be your cat.

We will be hosting a talk focusing on management for bought-in calves. We also have a special guest from Virbac to discuss their vitamin and trace element injection Multimin.

What: Ready, Set, Rear: a talk on bought-in calf management with some light food.
Where: The Black Bull at Nateby
When: Wednesday 13th May, food served at 7:30pm

It's already time to start thinking about worms in lambs - the Nematodirus forecast for our area predicts hatching in 7-14 days. Please keep this in mind when thinking about dosing strategies for new lambs, and remember you can always drop off faecal samples for us to do worm egg counts in house to give you more information.

We have sadly had another male black cat handed in found dead on the A66 at Taylor and Braithwaite. He is entire and not microchipped so we suspect he could be feral, however if anyone is missing him, please let us know.

Update - we have managed to locate the owner - thank you all for sharing.

We have sadly had a deceased adult male black cat handed in. He was found hit on the road on the slip road of the A66 at Brough. He is neutered but not microchipped. If you think he may be your cat, please get in touch.
