This is baby Eric ( Eskham Date Night) by C Star x Romanov x For Pleasure.

Hes 5 years old, unbacked but was quite backwards. He's started his education and is taking it all in. He came to us quite accidently but seems to have fitted in. He has a great amount of scope and talent. He has the brain and jump to make grand prix level.

We won't be rushing him and certainly won't be doing any age classes, to preserve longevity. He's quite a softy and loves one to one!! He didn't have the best year but now has a great home with us, luckily its not affected his head. He was very poor and weak when he came to us, and looks so much better, but still has some filling out to do and development.

Some horses just need that little bit longer.... but also last longer.

We don't focus on "what they should be jumping" more of what they can and need to be doing, what they are physically and mentally capable of. He may be five but he still is a baby with development left!

Here at the stud, we cater for all - personalised plans... not one plan to suit all!!

🐴 Dinky – Talented 7yo 16hh ISH Mare with Huge Potential

Dinky is a lovely 16hh mare with plenty of scope and ability. She’s competed up to Discovery level in British Showjumping and has shown real potential to progress much further in the right hands.

She had a slow start to her career and, although she’s good to shoe, clip, have her teeth done and travel, she hasn’t been out much recently due to lorry issues, through no fault of her own. She’s eager to get back out competing.

Dinky is a forward, sensitive and intelligent mare with plenty of character. She can be sharp at times and will throw in the odd buck, but she’s not nasty and always tries to help her rider out. She’s best suited to a confident, competent adult rider who enjoys a responsive, energetic horse.

She hacks alone or in company, is very confident but never strong, and absolutely loves an adventure. Not a nappy type at all and enjoys getting out and about.

Ideally, Dinky would thrive in a professional or experienced showjumping yard, where she can properly start her career with a rider or trainer able to channel her talent and put their knowledge into her. In the right environment, she has all the ingredients to go far.

I've been riding Dinky for her owners now for the past couple weeks and she has been a pleasure to ride. Super sweet and willing mare who loves her jumping and will go quite far in the show jumping circuit. She can occasionally be sharp and throw the odd buck but nothing a capable and confident rider couldn't handle. Ive found the more work she's done the less she bucks. This doesn't affect her jumping. I've jumped her round 1m course and she was not fazed by anything at all.

Almost one year on!!!

Unfortunately its unlikely we will make Hickstead in June, but we have lots planned and some great international shows!

Just wanted to appreciate the work that Phillip Curtis Showjumping had done with Apollo. He came looking embarrassingly awful... and has truly blossomed.

When Phil broke his leg, unrelated to Apollo, he gave me a choice to move him and we chose not to and continue his work with Phillip Curtis when he's better. Meanwhile, Bel is working hard with Phil and not forgetting Sammy to maintain a high fitness level ready to get straight back at it! Plus some shows for Bel too.

We can not recommend phil and Sammy enough and we think the pictures speak volumes!

The speed Derby has our name on it... as do other big classes... its the journey to get you there thats important not when!

Whist our jockey Phillip Curtis Showjumping is still recovering from a broken leg, he has been coaching Bel Percival on our Prophecy B - International Showjumping Stallion. Today jumping a course of 120/ 1.25m. Biggest course she has jumped, and doing amazing.

Huge thank you to Phillip Curtis Showjumping who has to be one of the best trainers ever! A lesson on Bang Tidy, Jack Frost and then percival did role reversal and became the trainer with Phil on Prophecy B - International Showjumping Stallion working towards her level 2 coaching.

Bang Tidy and Jack Frost 2 very different horses! Showing that with the right trainer, some determination and horse power that you can achieve your targets.

Especially pleased with Frosty popping 1m like and absolute pro, proving that if you put the work in, the results speak for themselves If you belive you can you will!!
