🛑 Important notice - Cancellation of our Autumn In Hand and Ridden Show - Sunday 5th October 🛑

Please share!

Unfortunately, due to the predicted heavy wind and rain predicted towards the back end of the week, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this show.

We very rarely cancel events, but on this occasion, we feel the ground conditions, particularly in our trailer and lorry parking area, will not be suitable on the day.

Whilst it is disappointing for all involved, we do not want to compromise the safety of our competitors and horses, and jeopardise our field conditions.

We hope everyone is understanding in this matter, and we look forward to resuming our showing schedule in 2026!

We are incredibly proud of all of the riders who joined us today for our Intro to Arena Cross Country Clinic! Thank you for making the day a thoroughly enjoyable day to teach from the first lesson to the last.

For so many combinations, it was their first time jumping cross country style fences, which, understandably, brought heightened nerves into the arena. However, by breaking the questions down, and focusing on confidence rather than height, our riders managed to over come numerous type of fences and fillers, that they hadn’t thought possible at the start of the lesson.

For those riders with previous cross country experience, we focused on riding cross country style lines, skinny jumps, and opening up the canter.

We hope all of our riders enjoyed their sessions, and are proud of their achievements. What a super way to end the week 😊

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Grid Work Clinic at Beverley Polo Club yesterday!

We had a very busy day to say the least, and saw so many lovely combinations who all worked hard to make improvements throughout their sessions.

Not everyone worked over the grids, with some super pole work, and flatwork sessions been taught which gave nice variety to the teaching day.

Well done for all your hard work and achievements, and for lots of smiley faces keeping the energy up on a busy day - it was a real pleasure to teach!

Thank you as always to Beverley Polo Club for the use of their incredible facilities - our next Grid Work date is now open to book for Friday 17th October on www.equoevents.com

We’re all set up and ready to go at Beverley Polo Club for our Grid Work Clinic!

As always, we start off with poles on the ground, and build the grid to suit horse and rider ability.

Please remember if you are joining us today, to pick feet out before entering the arena, and ensure all droppings and hay are removed from the car park.

As always, we ask everyone to arrive 5 minutes early to their lesson to mount, and make the most of their clinic time 😊

✂️Clipping season madness is in full swing! ✂️

With the sudden change of weather, we’ve received lots of bookings for clipping, and are doing our up most best to get every booked in!

Of course, we are always grateful for your support and love transforming so many hairy horses into sleek, and smooth beauties!

Currently we are taking bookings from mid October onwards, so please bear with us getting your horses booked in - we are trying our best to accommodate everyone’s requests. In the last few weeks we have covered Driffield, Aike, Dunswell, Beverley, Cottingham, the Wolds and beyond.

With a range of Liveryman battery operated clippers, we have clippers and trimmers to suit all coats - no electricity required! Thank you to Razor Sharp - UK Ltd for fitting us in for some last minute blade sharpening this morning - the best service around as always.

We are pleased to confirm Rich will be joining us on Wednesday 8th October 11:00 - 14:00, at CEC with his mobile sharpening service. No need to book, just turn up.

Please PM us for clipping availability and for cancellations.
