⚠️ I M P O R T A N T U P D A T E ⚠️

We want to say a big Thank-you to all our clients for your patience and understanding over the last 16 months. It has been a difficult time for the team at Chestnut House and we are overwhelmed by your continued support.

Whilst most legal restrictions will be lifted on July 19th, the responsibility lies with us to keep everyone as safe as possible.

◾️So as of Monday, Chestnut House will be asking clients to continue to wear a face covering whilst visiting the practice ◾️

◾️Our social distancing procedure’s such as waiting outside and telephone repeat prescriptions/payments will still be in place. We are continuing to only accept card payments. Please do not attend the practice without telephoning us first ◾️

We have a number of staff who still have only had their 1st vaccination, we want to continue to keep providing the service we have over the pandemic whilst continuing to keep our staff and clients safe.

Chestnut House Veterinary Centre in Hull, Yorkshire is recruiting! We are a fiercely independent 100% small animal practice committed to delivering excellent client and patient care. A real family-feel team with a loyal client base.

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 3 years experience in small animal practice. A passionate individual who is confident with routine procedures and surgeries, and able to take on more complex procedures with support.

In return we offer a relaxing working environment, no OOH, one day off a week and 5 weeks holiday per annum. Generous salary commensurate with experience. CPD is actively encouraged and paid for along with VDS/RCVS.

⚠️We would like to pre-inform our clients that on Tuesday 2nd March they may be a slight disruption to our telephone lines whilst the system gets updated ⚠️

If you are having problems getting through to the surgery, you can email us with any enquiries or alternatively pop down where a member of staff will be happy to help you.

If you are collecting a pre-ordered prescription, or attending an appointment, please knock at the front door and a member of staff will be with you shortly.

⚠️ L O C K D O W N 3 U P D A T E ⚠️

We now have our official guidance from our professional bodies the BVA and the RCVS once again.

▪️Under the current legislation you are allowed to visit your vet for treatment or advice but it is not business as usual. We will continue to provide care for our patients, however we are also required to play our part in minimising contacts in line with the strong government stay at home message ▪️

‼️Therefore during the current lockdown, we are now once again restricting appointments to urgent and emergency care only ‼️

Repeat prescriptions, remote payments, email communications and advice over the telephone will still be readily available. We are still here to help with your pets needs so please don’t worry.

These changes once more will put pressure on our telephone system, so please bear with us during busy periods.

On behalf of all the staff at Chestnut House, we would like to say a heartfelt Thank-you, to all our clients who have supported us during this very challenging year. We have been overwhelmed by your support, patience and resilience to the changes we had to make during the Covid pandemic.

Going forward, we will endeavour to strive to keep our staff, clients and patients healthy continuing into 2021.
