πŸ’™ A BLUE HEART FOR THE PAWS WE STILL CARRY πŸ’™

This heart is for every furry soul in Heaven who once filled a home with little footsteps, familiar routines, and a love unlike any other.

They may no longer be waiting by the door, resting in their favorite place, or following us from room to room. Yet they remain in the memories we revisit, the habits we cannot forget, and the quiet moments when missing them feels like love with nowhere to go.

Heaven may hold them now, but our hearts still remember their names. This blue heart shines for every precious pet whose pawprints time could never erase.

Loved beyond words. Missed beyond measure. Always part of us. πŸ’™πŸΎ

National Dog Day Belongs to Heaven, Too

Today, the world celebrates
the dogs still running toward the door,
still filling homes with happy paws
and covering clothes with fur.

But today,
my heart celebrates you.

I hold your collar in my hands
and remember when it held
the heartbeat of my whole world.

You were never just a dog.

You were the one who noticed
when my smile was pretending.
You sat beside the versions of me
that no one else knew how to love.

You carried my sadness
without ever knowing its name.
You rested your head against me,
and somehow,
the world stopped hurting so loudly.

I thought I was taking care of you.

But through every lonely night,
every broken season
and every morning I struggled to face,
you were the one taking care of me.

Then came the day
when loving you meant letting you go.

I held you close
and whispered,
β€œYou can rest now. I’ll be okay.”

But I wasn’t telling the truth.

I have never been okay
in quite the same way again.

I only said it
because I needed your final moment
to feel lighter than mine.

I hope my voice carried you
from my arms into Heaven.
I hope you heard I love you
inside every trembling word.
I hope you felt safe
when my heart was breaking.

Now your bowl is gone,
your bed is empty,
and the silence still remembers
the exact shape of you.

Some mornings,
I reach down before I remember.

Some nights,
I would trade almost anything
not for another lifetime,
but for one ordinary minute:

One nose pressed against my hand.
One tail tapping against the floor.
One look from you that said,
β€œI know you better than anyone.”

They say time softens grief.

Maybe it does.

But time has never taught
my love how to forget you.
It has only taught me
how to carry the missing.

So on National Dog Day,
while others celebrate the dogs beside them,
I will celebrate the dog
I must now love beyond sight.

I will say your name.
I will remember every beautiful detail.
I will thank you for choosing my life
and quietly wish
we had been given more time.

You are still my family.
I am still your person.
And even death cannot change
who we belong to.

Until the day
my hands find your fur again,
run freely, my sweet angel.

Run without pain.
Sleep beneath Heaven’s warmest light.
And if you ever look back toward me,
please know

I am still here.
I am still loving you.
I am still carrying you
through every day I have left.

And every National Dog Day,
there will always be a place for you

because you may have left this world,
but you never left my life. 🀍🐾

One of our lovely customers has asked us to share her review for her which she has emailed as she was unable to add this to the google reviews.

Thank you Anne for your lovely review and such kind words 😊

β€œ We very sadly lost our beautiful boy Mo in July & I chose Halsham to look after him at this time.

From the initial phone call to us taking him to the chapel & collecting his ashes the next day, we & Mo were treated with love, respect & understanding.

I knew the team at Halsham would look after my boy until he came back home to us.

The chapel & surroundings are peaceful & beautiful & we weren’t rushed.

I would like to thank the team for their support during this very difficult time, it will not be forgotten x β€œ
