🐾 Sheeran & Mischief are looking for their forever home 🐾

Someone was clearly a big Ed Sheeran fan when naming these two gorgeous ginger kittens! 🧡🎶

Sheeran and Mischief are a lovely pair of brothers who are full of curiosity, fun, and personality. They love knowing what’s going on and will happily be involved in all the action - these two don’t want to miss a thing! 😸

They are very playful kittens who love exploring and enjoying all kinds of cat toys. Whether it’s chasing, pouncing, or finding new ways to entertain themselves, Sheeran and Mischief are always ready for some fun. 🧶🐱

These two also have a way of making everyone laugh with the little shenanigans they get up to together. They’re full of character and will keep their new family entertained with their playful personalities and curious nature.

When playtime is over, they’re also happy to enjoy some fuss and attention from their humans. These boys would make wonderful companions for someone looking for two playful, affectionate kittens to grow up with.

🐾 We welcome you to a Summer Cat Experience🐾

We're thinking about holding a Summer Cat Experience at Country Hill Animal Shelter before the children head back to school, and we'd love to know if it's something you'd be interested in!

The idea would be a fun, family-friendly visit where you could:

🐱 Meet our wonderful rescue cats
🐾 Learn about their personalities and stories
❤️ Spend time with them in small groups, with their welfare always coming first
☕ Enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, squash and biscuits afterwards (you're welcome to bring a picnic too!)

It would be a relaxed 20-minute experience, with a short welcome and safety briefing followed by time to meet the cats.

🎟️ Tickets would be kept affordable at just:

💙 £2 per adult
💙 50p per child
👶 Under 2s go free

We're also thinking of having a 50p lucky dip for the children with some little prizes to win! 🎁🐾

As well as being a lovely day out for animal lovers, every ticket would help support the rescue cats in our care. ❤️

At the moment, we're just seeing if there's enough interest before we choose a date.

🐾 Hello from Country Hill Animal Shelter! 🐾

We thought we’d reintroduce ourselves and let more local people know who we are and what we do. ❤️

We are a small animal charity based in Ranscombe (a few minutes from Kingsbridge), dedicated to helping cats in need. Alongside our rescue work, we also offer comfortable, luxury boarding for cats while their owners are away. 🐱

🏡 Luxury Cat Boarding from just £12 per night!
✨ 1 cat – £12 per night
✨ 2 cats sharing the same pen – £14 per night
✨ 3 cats sharing the same pen – £16 per night

Our boarding provides a safe, clean and caring environment where your cats can relax and be looked after while you’re away.

📅 Pick up and drop off appointments are available between 9am – 5pm.

We also rescue and rehome cats who can no longer stay with their families due to changes in circumstances. Every cat that comes into our care receives the support they need, including:

🚨 We urgently need cat litter donations! 🚨

We’re currently at full capacity with our charity cats and only have enough litter to last us a couple more days. 🐾

It’s not the most glamorous part of rescue, but it’s one of the most important!

Keeping our cats’ litter trays clean, fresh, and comfortable is a huge part of their daily care. We get through a 30-litre bag of cat litter every few days and we really need your help to keep our supplies topped up.

If you’re able to donate even just a small bag of cat litter, we would be incredibly grateful. Every bag donated helps us continue providing the best possible care for the cats waiting for their forever homes.

🐾 Willow & Loki are looking for their forever home together! 💕

Willow and Loki are a beautiful bonded pair of girls who are ready to find a forever home where they can stay together.

These lovely girls are always the first to greet you at breakfast time, eagerly waiting to say hello and see what's on the menu! They both adore people and have so much love to give.

Loki is the confident one and loves nothing more than stretching out in a sunny spot for a good sunbathe. Willow loves her strokes and also enjoys curling up in a cosy spot for a well-earned nap after a busy day.

Both girls are incredibly affectionate and get along well with dogs, making them a wonderful addition to the right home.

Tom and Thomas are a bonded pair of brothers, and we'd love to see them find a home together.

Thomas is your little shadow - he'll happily follow you around, soaking up all the affection and cuddles he can get. Tom is the curious one, always keen to investigate what's going on, but he's just as gentle and loves plenty of fuss and strokes too.

They're both incredibly sweet-natured, playful, and have so much love to give. Whether they're chasing toys, exploring together, or curling up for cuddles, these boys are always a joy to be around.

🐾 Shadow is looking for his forever home! 🖤

Shadow may have had a difficult start in life, but you'd never know it now. Since coming into our care, he has blossomed into one of the most affectionate and loving cats we've ever met.

He absolutely loves being around people and is always happy to soak up as much fuss and as many strokes as you'll give him.

He's playful, gets on well with other cats, and is always curious about what the kittens are up to, often trying to play with them through the pen window!

Dreamies are definitely the way to Shadow's heart - they're his absolute favourite! 💛

Now all that's missing is a forever home where he can continue to thrive and be the adored companion he deserves to be.

🏡 Shadow will need a home away from busy roads, ideally with no roads nearby or only very quiet ones, so he can explore safely.
