Our license number is ACSR24383. We are fully insured and first aid trained. We are life long dog owners, who have had love for animals big and small since a child. I have previously worked
in a local cattery and have owned animals from hamsters and fish to dogs and horses and have experience with dealing with different animals in all kinds of situations. I originally started scruffs to crufts 18 years ago on my own, I was then joined by my daughter Kelly who has always had the same passion for animals as I have and now has 7 years grooming behind her. Kelly has always been a child sitting in the parlour watching me work and has always said she will be doing the same, her dream has come true and her relationship with animals still amazes me. We are located on a secure acre of land on Toms lane in kings Langley and our fully air conditioned grooming salon is on site. Grooms are never rushed as we want the dogs to have a relaxed experience and we understand that some dogs need more time to adjust to new surroundings and experiences. We also offer a collection and delivery service if needed. The services we offer:

We groom many rabbits and guinea pigs but no longer can cater for cats. We offer pet feeding in peoples own homes too, whether it be for anything from fish, to dogs we are happy to help. We cater for puppies from 14 weeks old all the way through their lives. I am trained to administer insulin and medication and will cater to all dogs needs to ensure that they are as comfortable as they can be and give them a home from home feel. For home boarding we will arrange a meet and greet and a free trial. We then suggest that the dogs come in for day care and an overnight stay so they can get used to us and the surroundings before a long stay so they can be happy and comfortable with us. We will never let your dog off the lead when out walking to minimise risk and put your mind at rest whilst you’re away. We also ask for your dogs routine and will follow it accurately so there will be very little adapting for them.
