Southern Cassowary this time done in ink. I remember my grandmother having Windsor & Newton ink and being fascinated with the different pictures for the colours. Really enjoyed the vibrancy of this, some of the runs got out of control but all part of the charm.

Once again a range of different pictures and I love seeing how each person tackles the subject. Some lovely comments, art really can help to relax and take you away from the daily grind of life.

In honour of one of my very favourite artists, Lucy Kemp-Welch. This was a painting exercise to reproduce colour and texture, don’t think I did her original justice but absolutely loved the process. If you love horses, check her art, it is fabulous.
