🐴 YARD HELP WANTED – HOLIDAY COVER 🐴
We are looking for a reliable, experienced person to cover some staff holidays this June at our yard in Tilney All Saints (PE34). We are a friendly, welcoming family team who pitch in to help, and you will have company as I will be on the yard to assist most of the time!
📅 Dates Required:
Monday 22nd June
Thursday 25th June (a.m and p.m required)
Friday 26th June
Sunday 28th June (A.M. only)
⏱️ Flexible Hours to Suit You:
We can offer either Split Shifts (A.M. & P.M.) OR A.M. Only shifts.
A.M. Shift: 3 to 4 hours (Flexible start time between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM).
P.M. Shift: Bring in, check over, and feed.
📋 The Role & Yard Routine:
This is a VERY EASY, highly organized yard to work with beautiful, nice horses (8 to 10 horses total).
Muck out (mainly shavings or clean straw) – must be to a high standard where horse welfare always comes first!
Turn out / Bring in & check over.
Feed (all pre-made, just put in stables).
Hang pre-made haynets.
Fill waters (super easy, the hose reaches every single stable!).
Tidy the yard (we use a yard blower, so no exhausting sweeping required!).
Administer basic medical treatments if required.
👤 What We Are Looking For:
Must have experience working with sports/competition horses.
Absolute reliability is a must.
A positive, team-player attitude.
