Super pleased with Layla and dominoes progress these last few weeks !
He’s not been the easiest pony to back and has taken time to get use to the ridden life, with him being a little too small for me to get going in the trot and canter , Layla has helped me back and produce her pony as well as her learning along the way too.

Our goal for the start of the school holidays was to get this partnership going off lead rein and build some confidence between the horse and rider.
So far we’ve achieved off the lead walk , trot and canter in the school with some pole work too and today we done our first off lead rein hack with Layla piloting all the way.

One very happy girl and a much more confident pony and partnership, makes my job very worth while seeing results like this 💕

Now for me to focus more on bugsys schooling , lovely to see the owners enjoying they’re horses after lots of hard work 🫶🏻
Bugsys been such a good boy to do , he started as a green spooky hacker with little confidence in himself and has now become a bold and forward pony that can now fill jasmine with confidence too, lovely to see it all work out 💕

One of my Connemara youngster’s Ted having a go tonight ,
Such a good boy considering he’s not had anything done for a few weeks while I’ve been super busy with work.

I’ve resisted chopping the mane off as I have considered doing a bit of fun showing with him while I have no horse to compete currently 🙈

Being 3 years old he will only do light stuff and will only be lightly backed before turning him away over winter and then bring him back into work spring 2027, someone will be so so lucky to have this pony he’s just a gem all round 💎

The youngsters are always my favourite to do , so rewarding in the end Cookie you are gorgeous 💝
