We’re sad to share that our sweet Shaun the sheep has passed away 💔
Shaun arrived at Goodheart in 2018 after a kind member of the public spotted three orphaned lambs in very poor condition on a farm. Mickey, Baz, and the tiniest of the trio - Shaun - were just days old and desperately unwell. Our team bottle-fed them and provided round-the-clock care until they grew strong enough to explore the world around them.
Though they all thrived, Shaun’s difficult start left him with a weaker immune system, and as an adult he often struggled to keep weight on. He received extra care, regular health checks, and a special diet, but after a short illness, he sadly passed away at the age of seven.
We wish we’d had more time with him, but Shaun enjoyed many more happy years here than he would have had in the farming system – years filled with safety, friendship, and love. We’ll miss seeing his sweet little face looking up at us every single day. 💚
