Unfortunately we have had a small black cat handed in yesterday. The cat had been hit by a car and was dead on arrival. The cat is female and does not have a microchip. The cat was found near the trading estate on wilden lane. If you know who the cat may belong to please call the practice on 01562740517

Retractable Leads!

They can cause injuries to you and your dog, as
they are easily snapped if you have a bouncy,
pulling dog.

Circumstances may cause them to get stuck
around your dog or people’s legs, NEVER try and
stop the dog with your hands.
Specially designed leads are available with multiple
clips to link both items together, the wider the tape
the better!

You must allow yourself and your dog time to
adjust to new items and training should always
start in the home before bringing them outside.

If you are having any issues or have any questions
your local vet will be happy to help!

Kennel Cough Awareness!

Even other dogs you know quite well may pass on disease to your dog without showing signs. It is always a good idea to check with the owners of your doggy’s pals that they are also protected against Kennel Cough (Contagious Canine Cough), as well as ensuring your own dog is protected to help keep them healthy.

Prevention is better than cure! Give the practice a call on 01562 740517.

🌱 GRASS SEEDS 🌾

The below is a grass seed embedded in a dog.
They look innocent enough, but if they find their way
in and pe*****te the skin, they can cause major
trouble depending where they end up!

They are mainly found:
🌾 Caught in amongst the fur
🌾 In between the pads
🌾 In the ears

If you spot a grass seed or are unsure, please
contact the practice on 01562 740517 📞

We have rightly had a lot of questions since the announcement of the closure, and this had delayed the waiting times on our phone line.

If you have any questions on the closure, please email: [email protected]. This frees up the phone lines for any emergency calls to us.
