Chester, Dexter, Cody, Winnie, Louie, Dylan, Flash, Charlie, Maple, Reggie, Woody, Pedro and Tiger the cat have all headed home after their stay with us! 🐾❤️

Mabel has just gone home from her first boarding stay! She settled straight in and had a great time playing fetch in the field with all of the other doggy friends! We can’t wait to see her again soon 🩷

Today we said goodbye to Echo, Beau, Rocco, Penny, Angus, Lyla and Bo as they headed home after their stays with us. 🐾❤️

What a lovely bunch they are, all with very different personalities!

Echo, Beau, Lyla and Angus are happiest when there’s a ball involved, full of energy, always on the go, and ready for endless games of fetch! 🎾🐕 They certainly kept us busy.

Meanwhile, Rocco, Penny and Bo were much more interested in cuddles, company and spending time relaxing in their beds with us. 🥰

That’s one of the things we love most about what we do, getting to know every dog’s unique personality. Whether they’re full of energy and looking for adventure, or would rather enjoy a quiet cuddle and a snooze, we’re always happy to accommodate their individual needs and make sure they feel right at home.

We hope you’ve all had a wonderful stay with us and we can’t wait to welcome you back again soon! ❤️

Tolkien has headed home after another lovely stay with us at Glenacres. ❤️

Tolkien has been coming to stay for many years now, and it has been such a pleasure watching him grow in confidence over that time. When he first started visiting, he could be a little unsure and nervous, but these days he settles in brilliantly and enjoys all the attention from the team.

He's such a lovely boy with the sweetest nature, and it's always a joy to have him here.

We'll miss you, Tolkien, and can't wait to see you again soon! 🐾

Sid has just gone home after his holiday with us! It was his first stay without his big brother and he settled straight in! With lots of cuddles, enrichment and walks he felt right at home 🩷

We said goodbye to some lovely guests today! 🐾

Humphrey has had a fantastic stay and made sure nobody forgot his favourite thing in the world… his ball! 🎾

Coco and Aspen have been soaking up all the cuddles and attention, and Barry the cat settled in brilliantly, spending plenty of time relaxing on the cat tower. 😻

🐾 Home time for some of our familiar faces! Thor, Loki, Reya, Boba, Narki, Willow, Freddie, Carlos, Bertha, Frank and Willow have all headed home after another lovely stay with us. As always, every one of them brought their own character and kept us entertained in their own way. It’s always a pleasure having these regulars back with us, and we look forward to seeing them again soon. ❤️

🐾 This week's wonderful guests at Glen Acres Kennels & Cattery 🐾

A big thank you to Daphne, Alaska, Grace, Artemis, Bella, Buddy, Willow 🐶, Nala, Willow 🐱, Jess, Ted and Dougal for staying with us!

They've now all headed home after their holiday, and it was a pleasure to care for them. We hope they enjoyed plenty of cuddles, playtime, treats and adventures during their stay with us. ❤️

Today was a very sad day as we said goodbye to our dear friend Colin.

While it was an emotional day, it was also lovely to see so many family members and friends come together to celebrate Colin’s life, share memories, and give him the send-off he truly deserved.

Colin will be dearly missed by all of us at Glenacres. He was a much-loved friend, and the kennels won’t be quite the same without him.

We would also like to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our customers for their understanding and support while we closed today to attend Colin’s funeral. We greatly appreciate everyone who adjusted their plans and collection times to accommodate us on such an important day.

Rest easy, Colin. You will never be forgotten. ❤️

Becky and Muffin have now gone home after enjoying their stay with us in the Cattery. They’ve been very comfortable during the hot weather and especially loved having the fans on to keep them cool in this heat! We hope to see them again soon 🐱 ❤️
