🐾 NEWBIE ALERT ❗️❗️🐾

Please give a warm welcome to my latest new client cockapoo Alfie ❤️. He has already stolen my heart with his cute face and gentle nature. He and his family have just moved so his routine has been a bit all over the place lately, plus throw a new dog walker into the mix, so understandably hes been a bit confused and unsure bless him. He will be joining one of my other dogs on our walks so he will play big brother and look after him and make sure he settles in nicely. We cant wait to spend more time with this cutie 🐾🐾🐾

No rest for the wicked even on a weekend with my 4 legged bosses 😁. Clocking more steps up while they done the usual sniffing and investigating everything like it was a crime scene 😆. It seemed to get warmer too the later in the afternoon and early evening it got. A pleasure as always. Starring Eli, Pepper & Rudy, and Harley 🐾🐾🐾

Soggy munchkins 🤣. It was great to be back with these lovelies Trixie & Bailey but Im not sure the feeling was mutual. Their euphoria of seeing me when I first walked in started to wane the wetter they got 😂 🐾🐾🐾❤️

It is with great sadness that I share the news that one of my beautiful clients Lula passed away over the weekend. It was a great shock to us all as she had shown no indication of being ill at all and was her usual energetic and enthusiastic self on our last walk. It turned out she had a cancer growth growing inside her tummy and it showed no symptons until the Saturday until it progressed quite quickly over the day and she was unable to walk or climb stairs etc. Due to the size of the tumour and her age, the vet didnt rate much of a success rate so it was decided the best thing for her was to be put to sleep.

Naturally I am devastated. As all fellow dog walkers will know where Im coming from, we develop a bond with our clients over time and they become like one of our own. I will miss her endless energy and her little marathon runs to catch me up when she was sometimes a little slow because she was too busy sniffing everything in sight. She also had a special love of carrots earning her the nickname champion carrot cruncher 🤣. She used to eat them like she was on a Man v Food competition 🤣.

I will miss our walks and her zest for life immensely and my thoughts are with her owner as she tries to navigate through this very difficult time. I thank her for giving me the time that I did have with her .
