☀️ Weather Update ☀️
Unfortunately I’ve had to cancel this afternoon’s grooms due to temperatures exceeding 30°C. Even with a portable air conditioning unit in place, these temperatures are simply too much for the dogs. Their welfare will always come first. ❤️
Tomorrow’s temperatures are currently forecast to drop to around 25°C, which is much more manageable. However, I will continue to play things by ear and may still need to rearrange appointments for more vulnerable dogs, including seniors, puppies, and brachycephalic breeds.
If you are at all concerned about your dog attending their appointment in the heat, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
I’d also kindly ask that dogs are not walked to appointments during this warm weather. Even with slightly cooler temperatures, walking can contribute to overheating before their groom. Please use an air-conditioned car.
