Can we PLEASE stop being proud of producing animals like these?

They are not ‘cool’ or ‘cute’ and they are certainly not worth tens of thousands of pounds.

They are born to suffer with breathing problems, with skin issues, with spinal deformities and more.

And it vets who have to pick up the pieces.

Who have to persuade owners who think these problems are ‘normal for the breed’ that their pet needs surgery and medications to live anything like a reasonable life.

And deal with the backlash when they realise the true costs involved with caring properly for their pets.

It is exhausting for us and unbelievable cruel to the animals.
