Owning a dog in todays world can be a challenge for any owner, dogs find it hard sometimes to adjust to our human way of life. Communication is a key part of the human dog relationship and a breakdown in communication can cause some behaviour problems, but also us humans could be adding to the al

ready existing issues our dogs are experiencing. As dog owners none of us want to create bad behaviour in our dogs, but it is one thing that is not always easy given our busy lives that many of us live. Having a well trained dog to recall when commanded can be a huge benefit to their exercise regime and their safety if having off lead. This also helps install some confidence and relaxation in the owners too. It is important when owning a dog to display responsible behaviour while out walking with your dog so why should your dog be any different. Some dogs find it hard to be around other dogs for certain reasons, they may lunge or bark aggressively. Other common problems could include,
Lead Pulling
Jumping up (in the house or on walks)
Distraction
Recall
Fear and Phobias (traffic, bikes, prams etc etc)

Most of these behaviour problems are happening for a reason, dependant on the dogs previous history, the dogs everyday environment and exercise regime. The Dog Daddy will assess all the issues experienced with your dog and will agree on a training program that is realistic to your lifestyle and dogs individual needs

The Dog Daddy believe's training should be fun, non aversive and carried out under minimum stress levels for the dog.
