BBQ season is definitely here ☀️ 🌽 we hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather whilst it lasts.

We have had a few poorly dogs visit us who have unfortunately eaten a corn on the cob & become very poorly due to them being swallowed whole which caused a blockage 🤒 even if they are chewed this can happen! So this is a reminder to please make sure you don’t let your pets eat corn on the cobs ❌ 🌽.

Other BBQ essentials to keep out of reach from them are:

Cooked Bones 🦴
Onion & Garlic 🧅 🧄
Kebab Sticks / Skewers
Avocado 🥑
BBQ Sauce
Spicy Foods 🌶️
Salty / Fatty Meat 🥩
Fried Foods
Grapes 🍇
Raisins
Chocolate 🍫

These two gorgeous girls, Margo & Daphne, spent the day with us at the clinic for their spays 💕

Obviously, they had to get the special treatment and have lots of cuddles with our nurses and ACA’s 🐾
