Huckleberry Woods is not a graveled pathway, chemical weed killer type of place - but a wild, back to nature type of place. It's located in an old orchard and is small, charming and understated rather than large, slick and commercial. Calm and peaceful space
With only a small n

umber of visitors booked in at any one time, our guests are able to spend a peaceful couple of hours mingling with our tame animals, many of them free-ranging. Huckleberry Woods is not the sort of place where you rush between loads of animal enclosures, vending machines and other distractions. It offers an hour or two of peace and serenity. Time to 'be' not just 'do', time to reconnect with nature and experience close interaction with friendly animals.
​Please consider carefully whether this type of relaxing experience is what you'll enjoy before booking. Please remember to wear closed-toed footwear when visiting as there are free-ranging hooved animals around. You won't be able to come in wearing sandals or flip-flops. 🌿 Thinking of visiting Huckleberry Woods? Here’s what to expect… 🐾

We’re a little different from your typical animal attraction — and proudly so.

At Huckleberry Woods, we offer a peaceful, slow-paced experience in a beautiful private orchard just outside Faversham. It’s a chance to step away from screens, breathe in the fresh air, and spend calm time amongst free-roaming micro and miniature animals — including mini pigs, mini donkeys, alpacas, pygmy goats, Teddy Bear and Valais Blacknose sheep, turkeys and chickens.

No endless rows of enclosures, no flashing lights, no crowds — just friendly animals, fresh air, and space to relax. The comfort and wellbeing of our animals are our top priority.

You’ll hear a short welcome briefing when you arrive — this helps keep you and the animals safe, and ensures everyone has the chance to enjoy the experience respectfully. (Please remember you’ll need closed toed shoes to come in)

We use eco-friendly composting loos, and we’re proud to tread as lightly as we can on the earth.

🧡 If you’re looking for a calm, animal-led experience with heart, we’d love to welcome you.
⛔ If you’re expecting a theme park or busy petting zoo, we might not be the right fit — and that’s okay too.

Most of our guests leave smiling and relaxed, and we can’t wait to share the magic with you.

Micro animal adventures

A small, family-run, rustic farm animal attraction devoted entirely to micro and miniature animals. See the cute micro pigs, feed the miniature Mediterranean donkeys, Teddy Bear sheep, baby alpacas and miniature chickens. You can even arrange to take the piggies, miniature donkeys, sheep and alpacas for a walk.

It's a small peaceful private space - we're trying to offer something completely different and altogether more personal for our visitors. We’re not like other animal farms who may have loads of animals to see but perhaps are rushed and a little too crowded. Those farms are lovely too - but we're offering something gentle and home spun, taking you back to simpler times and old fashioned fun.

Open most days (except Wednesdays) 10.30 - 3.30pm - but pre-booking is essential for your two hour experience. Please note: we’re unable to accept visitors that haven’t pre-booked.

Adult entry £7.50. Children over two £4.50. Concessions £4.50
