I'll be doing this at the end of the month! If you've ever wondered about a more holistic approach or how complementary therapies can be used in animals, book a ticket and come along :).

Our main aim is to take in neglected or abused animals. We then nurse them back to health, rehabilitate and then find a loving, permanent home for each and every one.

Some general tips for keeping pets safe on fireworks night 🐈‍⬛:

1. Make sure your pet is indoors when fireworks are being set off.

2. Draw the curtains and turn the TV or radio up louder than normal to mask the noise of the fireworks

4. Build your pet a den or allow it to find a place to hide and leave it quietly as long as it is safe.

More and more evidence for homeopathy

🐶❤️ Research Alert: Homeopathy for Canine Heart Health!

A 2020 study evaluated the benefits of Crataegus oxyacantha (hawthorn) in dogs with early-stage myxomatous mitral valve disease (MMVD)—the most common heart condition in middle-aged dogs.

🔬 Key Findings:

✅ Dogs treated with homeopathic Crataegus 6 cH showed lower blood pressure within 60 days
✅ Those receiving Crataegus mother tincture (MT) saw benefits by 90 days
✅ Both forms helped improve heart function, extending the asymptomatic phase of MMVD

💡 This suggests Crataegus could be a valuable complementary therapy for managing canine heart disease!
