Did you know dog walking is not regulated?

What does this mean?
As an unregulated industry, you do not need any qualifications to become a dog walker. Literally anyone can start a dog walking business and sell them selves as a 'professional dog walker' they don't even need business insurance or any animal care experience.
Worrying right?

So what questions can you ask when seeking a professional dog walker to take care of your pooch?

Are you insured?
DBS checked?
First aid trained?
What experience do you have?
What qualifications do you have?
How will you ensure the safety of my dog?
What is your van set up? (Crated, seat belted, share crates etc)
How many dogs do you walk at one time?
How will you consider my dog is suitable to join your pack?

These are all basic questions any professional dog walker should be able and happy to answer. If they cannot or refuse to answer... 🚩🚩🚩

Tuesday morning with the best dogs around 🥰
As we were walking through the field the farmer started moving his sheep, it was rather ironic having a pack of dogs hearded by sheep 🤣And what good dogs they were staying calm, patient and walking along like this happens every day.
