Spey Valley Dog Training Club A Kennel Club Registered Dog Training Club on Tuesday evenings in Keith, Moray. If you are interested in joining classes, please give us a message.

We are a Kennel Club registered club holding classes in St Thomas's Hall, Keith on Tuesday evenings. Hall opens from 6.30pm. Puppy: 6.45pm - 7.30pm
Bronze/Silver: 7.30pm - 8.30pm
Gold: 8.30pm - 9.30pm
£4.00 per dog per class. The club is run by a committee of volunteers, none of the trainers receive any payment. Any profits made go back into the club and regular donations are given to charity. New members are always welcome! :)

A reminder that classes are now £4 per dog, per class.
Please make sure your puppy has had all its vaccines before bringing it to classes.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

We have been invited to hold a heat for the SKC Beginners Obedience Competition 2026.
Heats would be open to members eligible to compete in Prebeginners at Obedience Competitions and would take place in Keith, the first four from each heat are then invited to the final at the SKC Championship Show held at Strathaven on Sunday 5th April 2026.
There is also a class for under 16’s.
The competition is made up of 3 exercises, 2 compulsory (heel on lead, recall) and 1 of the handlers choice (Heel Free or retrieve).

Please could members who are interested in competing comment or message us ASAP as we need to reply to SKC and make arrangements for the heat.

We are delighted to let our members know that we have donated £350 to Hearing Dogs, proceeds from our show at Roseille this year, thank you again to all that supported the show.

We have also donated £100 towards Keith Show Companion Dog Show which will be used for prize money.

A reminder that we are now on a break for summer and will resume on Tuesday 19th August.

A gentle reminder for those sitting tests tomorrow
Please check your dogs id tag before you come and make sure you have a pooh bag in your pocket.
Bronze 10 am, please bring dogs brush
Silver 10 am, don’t forget a toy if you are using one for the play exercise.
Gold 12.30 for 1pm, bowl and some food.
