On days when we’re not running our dogs we get to watch other people running theirs.
The North of Scotland Gundog Association Open pointer and AV setter stake was won by Mr. Davy O’Neill with pointer bitch FTCh Crahan Amber of Shanrycon with Mr. Neil Crozier’s Irish setter dog FTCh Coldcoats Reggie a very close second.
It is a real honour and a pleasure to get asked to judge some of the very best pointers and setters from the UK and Ireland on a highland grouse moor. The sun shone, the birds made it challenging but everything was right with the world up there and at times like that you never want it to stop
