Nellie suffered from extreme reactivity to people and dogs passing by the house, her poor mum had stopped walking her because it was too stressful for them both, even having the TV on in the evenings was impossible because Nellie would get very stressed and bark constantly.
After 5 weeks of games training they can go for walks and feel confident that if people and dogs appear it can be managed, mostly with little or no reaction.
Nellie can watch out of the window and stay relaxed enough to be called away, and her mum has now started getting her comfortable with the TV on.
All of this achieved without putting Nellie in stressful situations that overwhelm her.
The hard work has been done by Nellie and her wonderful human companion and they are enjoying the benefits.
