August is almost here, and while many of our 1-1 training sessions are already fully booked, we still have a few dates available for all our lovely learners! 🐶❤️

Our 1-1 training sessions are tailored to you and your dog. Whether you need help with puppy basics, lead walking, recall, confidence building, reactivity, or any other training challenge, we’re here to help.

Each session includes personalised homework, giving you the tools to practise between appointments so you can continue making progress. This helps build a stronger bond, better communication, and a happier, more confident dog.

Doberman Day at work today! ❤️🐾

It’s been Dobies back-to-back all day, and we certainly can’t complain!

Over the years I’ve learned that training a Doberman is a bit of a fine art. They’re an incredibly intelligent, loyal and sensitive breed, but they’re also one of the most misunderstood. Sadly, they can be prone to a number of health issues too, which makes understanding the breed even more important.

One thing I firmly believe is that a good trainer should have a solid understanding of different breeds. No two breeds are the same, and training techniques should be adapted to suit the individual dog in front of you - not just a one-size-fits-all approach.

We feel incredibly lucky to have worked with so many amazing Dobermans over the years. We also proudly support and work alongside a Doberman rescue centre, helping these incredible dogs find the understanding and guidance they deserve.

Co-Co has come to stay with us, and she’s of character as always, full of energy, and always ready for a game. Watching her run, play, and enjoy life is exactly how we believe French Bulldogs should be-fit, active, and having fun.

Co-co’s mum does an absolutely fantastic job at keeping this girl looking amazing 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Hats off to her!❤️

These two were inseparable today, spending their time together playing outside, chasing each other around, and enjoying every minute in the fresh air. Watching their friendship grow and seeing those happy wagging tails is what doggy daycare is all about! 🌿🐾

Stunning Stormy 🥹🥹🥹

Some dogs become so much more than clients… and Stormy is definitely one of them. ❤️

Our beautiful Rottie girl has been coming to us since she was just a puppy, so it’s safe to say she’s part of the furniture now! Whether she’s making friends with the other dogs or happily jumping in the van for an adventure, she settles straight into family life.

When dogs stay with us, they don’t spend their holiday locked away. They live alongside us as part of the family, enjoying daily adventures, enrichment, and plenty of love.

One thing that’s incredibly important to us is that every boarding dog has already built a strong relationship with our team before staying at our woodland lodges - That foundation gives both the dogs and their owners complete peace of mind, because our biggest priority is making sure every dog feels safe, happy, and right at home.

We wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️🐾

💦 Summer training done the smart way. 🌳☀️

Warm days don’t stop Wilbur from having fun - they just mean we train smarter.

To keep him comfortable, Wilbur wears his cooling UV coat, kept soaked throughout the session thanks to his amazing mum. We always schedule training for the cooler part of the day, make the most of shaded woodland areas, and finish with plenty of splashing about to help everyone cool down.

Training should always put the dog’s welfare first. A little planning goes a long way, and our dogs deserve nothing less.

Safe, happy, and still having the best time… just the way it should be. 💙🐾

🐾 Cuteness overload! 🖤🤎

Frank & Alma are settling into daycare brilliantly, and we couldn’t be more proud of them. These gorgeous Rottweiler pups are not only adorable, but incredibly clever too!

Our specialist team is helping them build confidence, learn valuable life skills, and enjoy positive social experiences in a safe, structured environment. Watching them explore, play, and learn together is exactly what puppyhood should be about.

We can’t wait to watch these two grow into amazing adult dogs. They’re already stealing everyone’s hearts! 🐶❤️

💦💦🦈🐊SWIM SWIM🐊🦈💦💦

After a hard evening training session, there’s only one thing on Beauxlene’s mind… straight into the water! 🐶

Cooling down in our beautiful woodland swimming spot is her favourite way to finish a warm summer day. Watching those maligator 🐊❤️ paws cutting through the water, you’d be forgiven for thinking there’s a shark lurking in the lake… but it’s just our good girl doing what she loves.

Work hard. Play hard. Swim harder. ☀️💧🐾

⭐️REAL RESULTS - REAL TRAINING⭐️

We decided to film most of today’s session to give you a real insight into how we approach door reactivity. We hope it helps those of you working through similar challenges with your own dogs ❤️🐾

We’re working on place with the long-term goal of introducing the doorbell, which currently sends Coco into full Tasmanian Devil mode! 😂

Every dog is different, so it’s our job to choose the training approach that suits the individual. Coco becomes over-aroused and frustrated when guided back to her bed on a lead, and in those moments she can redirect and bite. Rather than creating conflict, we’ve chosen to use free shaping, allowing her to think, problem-solve and make the right choices herself.

Coco is genuinely one of the smartest French Bulldogs we’ve worked with. She’s incredibly driven, loves using her brain, and is always looking for the next challenge. Small dogs are often underestimated, but frenchies can be every bit as capable and rewarding to train.

Today we introduced one of our three D’s - Distance. We’ll add distractions later, but for now her homework is perfect for practising indoors while the weather stays warm.

Coco will also be joining us for boarding soon, so we’ll be able to continue building on everything she’s learned.
