Just to inform everyone that today I have found out my lovely mum has unfortunately had a stroke. She was taken ill yesterday and taken to A&E and I spent most of yesterday afternoon and evening trying to find out answers

She was on holiday on the south coast so getting to see her in hospital will be a bit of a challenge, they are looking to get her transferred to a local hospital for more treatment as soon as she is stable and able to travel

For this week nothing at daycare is changing. We have everything covered so don’t worry

Next week may look a little different but I will inform everyone as soon as I have more details

Big loves and squeeze your family tight as you never know what’s round the corner ❤️

We have some new bright green snuffle mats to add to the collection thanks Julie Adams the pups love them ❤️

We love a snuffle mat, especially when pups are coming into daycare and everything is soooooo exciting. Nose down and sniffing are natural calming behaviours and helps to keep things chilled

An active baby on the move means parents have a lot to juggle when sharing space with family dogs. This is one of the busiest stages of parenting!

❗️One of the most important rules: never allow your baby to approach the family dog. We always say: “Dog and baby on the scene, a parent in between.” This simple step prevents startling or uncomfortable interactions.

🐾 As babies crawl closer, dogs often show subtle stress signals—lip licking, yawning, scratching, turning away. Sometimes they’ll get up and leave, but other times they may stay put.

❗️That’s why your role is to notice these signals and prevent the approach. In our experience, it’s usually when the baby goes toward the dog that growls or snaps occur.

✅ Tools like crates, gates, play yards, or even positioning your own body as a barrier (what we call success stations) make a big difference in keeping everyone safe.

This is my most favouritest picture I’ve had in a long time. Ever time I look at it I giggle 🙃

I had the pleasure of a training session with these two yesterday evening.
I’ve met Dotty before in Puppy Class but I haven’t met her big sis Hattie before and what a beautiful girl she is ❤️

Don’t they both have the best faces?

Dotty is plotting my demise as I gave Hattie one more treat than her….

We worked on some confidence building activities and a refresher on some puppy foundation exercises

They both did so well
