Building our cat hotel...
We've had another busy weekend preparing for our cat hotel. I've painted 6 gates 😵‍💫 and Nick has been laying the tiles on our concrete base. We're a 1/4 of the way complete with the tiles, which means Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are devoted to laying tiles and grouting ready to start the build of the cat hotel next Monday!!

It's a tight deadline 😅 and with Thursday looking to reach 36 degrees We're going to start work before sunrise at 5am. This is definitely a labour of love and something we have been working hard on for over a year but we think our little hotel is worth the effort. 💙💚

Introducing Princess Consuela Banana Hammock. She loves to hunt and can often be found in the long grass stalking critters!

Nick adopted Princess during lock down and was told that he couldn't change her name from Princess. So, he decided to upgrade her name! We now get quite the reaction when we say her name at the vets 🤣💙💚

A massive thank you to Nick for building the pups a new play space, not an easy job with the ground being so hard!
We've created this new space to park the van and unload the pups in a secure area. This will now be used instead of the lawn area. This also gives greater space between where the dogs play and where the cats will be staying.
Happy cats, happy dogs, happy humans 😆💙💚
