Taco, Taki, Lil’ Crunch, Shellhead, Tacosaurus—the legend of many names. From our first walk, I knew you were something special. We had to play through all the levels of the whippet game of trust—me convincing you that being “kidnapped” for adventures was actually the best thing ever.

Once you found your feet — pure, unfiltered mayhem. Zooming at full speed, dodging the leash like a pro, and always making sure every walk lasted just a little longer than planned.

Equal parts joy, chaos, and biological warfare (shoutout to those van farts—never forgotten, never forgiven).

I hope you love your new home and your new walker across the river. We’re all gonna miss ya, pal.

Bernie, you absolute legend—

One of the OGs from the first van load, and honestly, one of the biggest characters I’ve ever had the pleasure of walking. I still remember our first outing like it was yesterday —mostly because you caused absolute chaos trying to get your harness on. A tornado of fluff and excitement, with the most ridiculously pristine white coat… well, pristine until you found that massive pile of dog s**t to roll in. I swear to this day it was a human turd — and I know you enjoyed watching me suffer through that cleanup!

From your rogue detours into strangers’ houses — (luckily, that big daft grin of yours got you off the hook) to our near-daily adventures, it’s been an absolute blast, mate. We’re going to miss you, but I hear you’ve landed yourself a new walking pal over in Whickham—
Enjoy the new stomping grounds, and we’ll catch up over the festive season for a beer or two!

In the meantime we’ll be smelling the freshness of your big goofball face with our very own custom Bernie car fresheners!

Next-level care, safety, and all the belly rubs.

We’re all about keeping dogs as happy and safe as possible, and this small tweak helps us do just that and allows us to pay our staff what they deserve.

Wow, what a whirlwind 2024 has been! For those of you who know me well, it’s been a challenging one both professionally and personally. Juggling two businesses alongside our monthly dog socials has been an absolute joy, but it’s also taken a lot out of me. That’s why I’ve decided to hand the reins over to the lovely Libby .

Dog socials have been such a huge part of my journey with and while I’ll miss running them, working 80+ hour weeks means I need to grab some downtime wherever I can. Don’t worry though—you’ll still catch us at Easter, Halloween, and Christmas for our charity walks, and I’m hoping to pop along to some socials for a proper catch-up with all my four-legged pals.

The ever awesome will still be on hand to keep things running smoothly and ensure it’s a safe, welcoming space for everyone. She’s also your go-to if you’ve got any behavioral questions—always up for a chat and full of great advice!

Thank you all for making 2024 so amazing—it’s been a year full of memories I will never forget.

Here’s to 2025 and all the exciting content to come!

Bonnie, you’ve been our ride-or-die for 4 awesome years and we’re super bummed you’re moving out of our area to retire into the woodlands with your Mum.

From day one you’ve had a never-ending zest for life, on days when it’s wet and we’re struggling you’ve been the heart of the crew — pushing us on every single adventure with a full-on smile.

Whether you are romping through the grass or curling up in the front seat for cuddle sessions, you are always in your element, living life to the fullest like the true Bonnie Bear Claw you are. We’re gonna miss that wagging tail and those soulful eyes, but the memories we’ve made along the way will always stick with us.

Bonnie, you’re not just a dog; you’ve become family. We’ll carry you in our hearts always. Wishing you a very well deserved retirement. We love you kid.
