🐾 A little reminder for all my lovely clients 🐾

I absolutely love welcoming your dogs, treating them like one of the family and giving them a comfy home-from-home 💛 My booking forms explain that I don’t usually take unneutered males, as they can sometimes be more likely to mark indoors.

However now and then I do make exceptions for young pups who are too little to be neutered yet – but if marking or hu***ng ovthet dogs becomes an issue, I may need to ask their emergency contact to pick them up early so they stay happy and my home stays clean and safe for all the dogs here.

As stated on my forms, I’m not able to give refunds in these situations, as the space is still booked and lots of extra cleaning is needed.

Thank you so much for your understanding – it means a lot and helps me keep providing a cosy, happy place for every pup that visits 🐶✨

Our Story

Beach Buddies are a small close knit family that is passionate about the care of all animals, especially dogs. The idea to start dog boarding first came about when we were discussing kennels, we would much rather our own furry members of the family to have a home from home experience when were away. This lead us to decide that lots of other people would prefer this too. We would love to have your fur babies come to stay with us where they are treated as the individuals they are, each stay with us is tailored to suit your companions personality and needs.

Here at Beach Buddies we understand that dogs are not just pets, they’re members of the family and so they enjoy the home creature comforts and long off the lead country walks that Beach Buddies provide.

Clare is the head here at Beach Buddies and will be your first point of contact. She takes great pride in tailoring each stay for all the doggies that come to stay with us and loves spoiling them with cuddles on the sofa! Clare’s favourite dog walk is Bigbury beach, where she can watch the dogs paddle in the water and kick up sand. She quite often say that dogs are better than people!

Chris has owned dogs all his life, and has some great experience with large breeds and more difficult dogs. He can often be found asleep in the arm chair with one of our smaller dogs curled up napping with him. Chris loves walks on the moors and taking photographs of the scenery and our furry companions. He has really varied interests which include oil painting, writing and is currently in the process of venturing into the world of Jewellery making. So watch this space for personalised doggie tags and Jewellery!
