I’m officially back in the salon after a much needed little refresh🫧🐾

Thank you SO much to everyone for your patience while I’ve been away, it’s very much appreciated🫶🏼

I’ll be getting back to all messages by close of business today.

I’m then officially OFF until Tuesday 1st September, this is my first proper personal time off this year, so I’ll be taking a complete break and won’t have access to my diary or business phone🤍

All messages and calls will be responded to on Tuesday when I return to work.

The 7.5 hour round trip on a day off is always worth it to watch Georgia in action. I’ll never miss an opportunity to learn from her, she’s such an inspiration✂️

Sulli joined me for the road trip this time… although he was NOT impressed about that 5:30am Sunday start🤣🤣

A full day of learning all things Teddy Trim, from salon style finishing to prep work and everything in between🫧

A huge success for this handsome boy, Pedro🩵

When Pedro first joined the Dapper Dawgs family, he was super nervous and found grooming quite overwhelming. Fast forward to now, and he’s come on leaps and bounds🤩

Watching dogs grow in confidence and begin to enjoy the grooming process is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. So proud of this little superstar🩵

Pet Stylist Groom Off 2026 ✂️🤍

I’m so pleased to have received 3rd Place with Kobi and a Special Mention with Oakli in a competition with such a huge level of talent from other groomers🫶🏼

Competitions like this allow my work to be assessed by respected groomers within the industry, with detailed feedback on scissor work, structure, balance, finish, and technique.

Every seminar, every judge’s critique, and every competition entry helps me refine my skills and that means every dog that walks into Dapper Dawgs benefits from techniques and standards that are constantly evolving✂️

I’m proud to be building a salon that is based not only on kindness and comfort, but on genuine professional development and a commitment to never standing still (which apparently I’m very good at🤣)

A little milestone for Maple today🍁🤍

The start of Maple’s handstripping journey🐾

Handstripping is a technique used on certain breeds to remove dead hair and encourage healthy new coat growth. Unlike clipping, it helps preserve the coat’s natural texture and colour.

It’s a slower, more skilled process, but the results are so worth it for the right coat🫶🏼

I’m so proud of how well Maple took everything today, she was a little superstar from start to finish🤍
