♥️Happy Anniversary ♥️
This month is a very special one for Irlam Animal Clinic — we’re celebrating our 10-year anniversary!
In April 2016, we opened the doors to our independent vet practice. With a bank loan, a pocket full of dreams and a lot of elbow grease. We put every penny we had went into building the clinic.
We started with just three members of staff, but fast forward to today we now have nearly 20 incredible team members. Each playing a vital role. Our Vets, Nurses, ACA’s, Admin Team and Receptionist all work incredibly hard to keep the clinic running. I am very proud of our team, who truly care for their patients - your pets. Through consults, monitoring them during anaesthesia, supporting them through procedures ranging from routine cases to more serious accidents, ensuring they are warm, safe, and loved throughout their stay.
Over the years, our team has gone above and beyond — treating wildlife, rescued animals, neutering and rehoming hundreds of cats.
We are moving forward with continued changes:
1. Our Rainbow Room – a separate comfortable, peaceful space for families to say goodbye to their four legged friends when the time comes.
2. Our Hydrotherapy Centre – now in its own location just up the road, with pool and treadmill facilities to support rehabilitation and wellbeing.
3. Our Dog Play Park & School – a new space that will allow us to run puppy socialisation classes and help dogs learn to interact safely and confidently. We might even do some educational talks for owners if there is interest for example first aid training.
It’s thanks to you all our wonderful clients and the community that has embraced us over the past 10 years so here is to the next decade — we have so many exciting plans ahead! 🥂
