Christmas 🎄

Christmas is such a magical time of year to spend time with your loved ones however it’s important to be mindful about how Christmas is for our pets! Some pets may struggle with the unexpected change.

🐴🐑🐈🐰🐶

So how can you help your pets?
• Keep routines – try to stick to normal feeding, exercise and sleep times
• Create a quiet space – give pets a calm area away from guests and excitement
• Be mindful of decorations – tinsel, lights, candles and ornaments can be dangerous if ingested
• Food safety – many festive foods (chocolate, mince pies, grapes, onions) are toxic to pets.

To help keep your pet occupied this Christmas you could use enrichment toys such as licki mats, snuffle mats etc. And
if you know your pet struggles with Christmas make sure they have a safe space to go to and look into getting calming products such as pet remedy!
